When and where will the 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo be held?

The highly anticipated 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo will take place at Seoul Forest, expanding into the Seongsu-dong area, from May 1 to October 27.

In addition to the expo, 'Charming Gardens' will be created in all districts to promote garden culture and urban healing.

What are 'Charming Gardens'? They are not just landscaping; they are story-driven gardens that reflect the history, culture, and natural environment of each area.

These gardens focus on improving spaces that need environmental enhancement, simultaneously promoting urban improvement and garden culture.

Since November last year, the gardens have been under development and are expected to be completed by April 20, just before the expo opens!

Who is creating these gardens? They are developed by professional garden designers, citizen gardeners, and local gardeners, ensuring that each garden tells a local story.

There will also be informational signs installed in the gardens to convey their significance and promote the Seoul International Garden Expo.
