August Memories: From Sweltering Heat to Sweet Treats
It was a scorching August, but I've already forgotten about it like the forgetful animal I am.
My brother bought me the cutest Kirby hand wash and body wash. I'm using them diligently!
Enjoyed an affordable and delicious *tteokbokki* for two at a place Inhye used to work at.
Next, we went to Teaference Cafe (where Inhye works), but we didn't get to see her.
Went all the way to Hongdae to see the Kakao Friends store.
I keep forgetting the *neungi* mushroom meme, no matter how many times it's mentioned.
Ordered Heytea twice! Sindang > Jongno 3(ga) > Hongdae. Spent the whole day wandering around.
Our boss went to Dokdo and gave us keycaps. I keep pressing them all day, feeling like I have ADHD.
Date with Mom! Exploring new cafes in Hyehwa that we've never been to.
My brother, AGAIN!!!!!! Got me the cutest Labubu strap. It's a bit of a nuisance because it jingles.
I told my brother that my task for the day was to buy Kuromi at Compose. He really went all out to find it! He went to five places to finally get Kuromi and even got Cho-in's My Melody.
Had the mango shaved ice at La Plee Flute, which is the same as the Shilla Hotel one. It's so delicious! Worth every penny!
Tried a strange ramen with a yuzu flavor, and a *nama biru* (draft beer) smaller than my phone.
Mom Date 2! Introduced Mom to Pop Mart. She thought it was cute, so I bought her one. We went straight for the peach something-or-other, as it was the last one available.
Visited the Cafe Dessert Fair!! It wasn't as crowded as I expected, which was nice.
Ate everything I wanted! The ice cream was delicious.
Nth visit to Hangari Sujebi (hand-pulled dough soup). Only the *sujebi* is good, lol. The kimchi and *pajeon* (scallion pancake) are not great.
Also checked out Lotte Mart at Seoul Station. Every time I go, I think it must be a must-visit course for foreigners.
Made basil pesto with basil grown at the office... It didn't taste good.
My mom wanted to go, but I failed to get tickets.
Workshop!!!!!!!! The view of Ulsanbawi Rock at Seoraksan Mountain was insane!
Highly recommend Pyeongchang Korean Beef Village!!! The *yukhoe* (beef tartare) is really delicious.
Healed my hair on my day off~~~~
Went to the new Confiserie Sélection in Jamsil, but it was a bit disappointing.
Used a Godiva ice cream coupon, and with the new 10% discount coupon I got, our next date will be at the Godiva Bakery.
LUSH was having a sale, so our boss bought a ton and shared it with us.
Do you know why this character's nose fell off? Because it really hurts! I didn't do it, but I'll keep trying to put it back on.
Our boss gave us our compensation in a Vetega envelope, which made me a little more excited.
Tried the Dubai flavor with a discount coupon, but it was just okay... Godiva is best with ice cream.
You buy me everything I want when I say I want it~~~ Hehe. It's delicious.
Ate at a restaurant without my sister and ate plenty of salmon and *yukhoe*.

I think I talked about the weather every day in August... A lot of strange things happened, but somehow it's already coming to an end.
