Refreshing Summer Dessert: Lotteria Bingsu Review

These days, the weather is really hot. On a day when I was craving a cool dessert, I visited the Lotteria in Yeonsan-dong to try their summer seasonal limited menu: bingsu.
The Lotteria bingsu is released every summer as a seasonal item, and many people are curious about its price and composition. I will share my honest review after trying it myself.
Location of Yeonsan-dong Lotteria
The place I visited is the Lotteria in Yeonsan-dong, Busan.
It is conveniently located near Yeonsan Station, making it a great spot to grab a quick dessert after a meal or to take a short break.
The store was clean and had ample seating, allowing for a comfortable experience.
Price of Lotteria Bingsu
When I visited, the bingsu was priced at 6,100 won.
Although the price seems to have increased slightly compared to previous years, considering that most café bingsus are over 10,000 won these days, it was a reasonable price.
I thought it was a suitable price for enjoying something refreshing or for ordering as a dessert after a meal.
Visuals and Composition
The bingsu I received after ordering had a cleaner appearance than I expected.
The basic components included:
- Red bean
- Fruit cocktail
- Soft milk ice and ice cream
While it doesn’t have extravagant toppings, it offers a classic red bean bingsu that anyone can enjoy without hesitation.
The difference between the photo and the actual appearance was minimal.
How Does It Taste?
The first bite was cool and sweet, embodying the typical taste of red bean bingsu.
The red beans were not overly sweet, making them easy to eat, and the fruit cocktail added varied textures throughout.
The ice was finely shaved, making it easy to enjoy until the end without discomfort.
Rather than being overly sweet, it had a balanced flavor that most people would find appealing.
Portion Size
It was just the right size for dessert after a meal and was suitable for two people to share lightly.
While it is smaller compared to the large bingsus sold at cafes, I found it to be a satisfying offering for a fast-food dessert.
Summer Seasonal Limited Menu
The Lotteria bingsu is available only during the summer season.
Since the composition and price may change slightly each year, I recommend trying it before summer ends if you're interested.
It pairs well with a hamburger on a hot day, making it a great dessert option.
