April 13

I went to the hospital as usual.

These days, I find the grass more appealing than flowers.

But the cherry blossom path always makes me stop in my tracks...

The weather has really warmed up, so I had my first soft serve ice cream of the year.

It was beautifully presented.

I shared one with my mom and sister.

April 14

I met my boyfriend in Anguk. I really love Jongno.

My boyfriend chose fried eggplant, while I picked mapo tofu.

The food was served very neatly, making it a great spot for a date.

I want to go back for dinner next time!

We went for lunch, but the atmosphere was a bit chaotic...

We studied together during the exam period, working on poetry assignments and reading books.

We also shared cheesecake.

Now, I always ask before taking the last bite of dessert, which is quite funny and nice.

Jongno is such a walkable city. I want to live there!

Dinner was at Goat Deli!

We ordered a set for two, which was just right.

The ham was mediocre, but the pizza was delicious.

Since we were in Jongno, we couldn't miss Cheonggyecheon.

Just gazing at the river without saying a word is wonderful.

It must be even nicer in summer.

April 15

Two days in a row in Seoul is a bit intense...

But my hair turned out great; I think I've mastered the curling iron.

Today's purpose of meeting was to go to a girl cafe.

How do I look?

I put together a nice outfit for the occasion.

There wasn't much to do around Wangsimni Station, so we headed to Jamsil, which I really like.

It was decorated so cutely; it felt like visiting a friend's house.

However, I ended up eating dinner at 5 PM.

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hungry and couldn't sleep.

All I could think about was food.

So, I got up and made sesame ramen.

I held back from having rice.

And something funny happened in the middle of the night.

In early March, I was annoyed and left comments in a group chat.

It wasn't frequent, just twice.

But in early April, I saw the comments I left and it made me laugh.

Why didn't I ask about it?

April 16

Park Sang-soo's interview really resonated with me.

When I reflect on myself, I realize that at least when I wrote this poem, I was being honest with myself.

I want to write honest and precise poetry...

I just want to write good poetry...

It feels great when a line or phrase touches me.

I completely agree!

I should buy and read the messenger book.

And today, I had soft serve again.

This time, the manager gave it to me, and they filled it to the brim.

I didn't regret spending 1300 won at all.

April 17

I met my boyfriend at Konkuk University.

It had been a while since I had Japanese-style pork cutlet, and it was delicious.

I had the loin cut, which was not greasy, super tender, and plentiful.

I loved it!

We went to Bonanza Coffee to study.

It was really crowded; it wasn't this busy the last time I visited!

It took an hour to find a good seat.

I read Natsume Soseki's work.

I usually don't have high expectations for classic literature, but I found it quite interesting and engaging.

After studying hard for about 4-5 hours, we had mala xiang guo for dinner.

It was tasty, but the variety of ingredients was a bit lacking.

We walked to the Han River.

The Han River is great for quiet conversations or deep discussions... it's just wonderful...

But it's so far from my home!

April 18

Since it was Saturday morning, I went to my poetry class.

This time, I received real compliments, which made me feel so good.

It was to the extent that I opened the bus window on my way home and said, 'I received compliments!'

While I was thrilled about the compliments, I also felt like I was starting to grasp something, which was really nice.

Then, it was my dad's birthday party!

We had a traditional course meal, which was delicious (the cold noodles served at the end were the best).

I hope he stays with us for a long time...
