A Perfect Oceanview Cafe Experience in Jeju

During my trip to Jeju Island, I wanted to enjoy delicious desserts while looking at the ocean from a cafe!
I was hesitant about long waits, so I aimed for a larger cafe. However, I also wanted to avoid overly noisy places, so I carefully selected this cafe.
Lazy Pump
Location: 32 Aewolbukseo-gil, Aewol-eup, Jeju City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province
Operating Hours: 09:00 - 20:00
Parking: Free for cafe customers
Dog-Friendly: Yes
Takeout Available: Yes
Restrooms: Separated for men and women
Lazy Pump is perfectly situated right in front of the ocean.
You have to drive a bit to reach the cafe since it’s close to the water!
Doesn’t the view look amazing just from this angle?
Jeju is often crowded with tourists, making parking difficult, but this cafe has its own parking lot right in front, which was a great convenience.
The cafe spans three floors, and there are two additional side buildings that can accommodate many guests.
The atmosphere is trendy and appealing to most people these days.
The posters and decor create a unique vibe that enhances the overall experience.
The main building has a fascinating layout, with the counter on the first floor and access to the second and third floors via a half floor (basement).
Although it’s underground, the ceiling is open, so it doesn’t feel like a basement.
The stairs leading to the second and third floors are designed with glass windows, allowing you to admire the beautiful ocean as you ascend.
Here’s a photo of the stairway photo zone!
There are tables here, making it a nice spot to enjoy drinks as well.
This is likely to be a popular spot, but do keep in mind it can be a bit chilly in winter.
The main photo zone is also fantastic.
You can enjoy tea time there, but when I visited, everyone was just taking photos and moving aside!
I managed to snap a picture too.
As for the menu, I was craving desserts and ended up ordering a French pie that looked delicious with its shiny sweet exterior.
I also ordered tangerine juice since I was in Jeju!
While enjoying the French pie, I noticed it was a bit dry, but I think that was because I hadn’t been drinking enough water while being active.
Overall, I had a delightful experience.
The parking was spacious, and the cafe had a vibrant atmosphere!
I wish I could have explored the other buildings, but it was too cold during my visit.
If you go on a nice day, make sure to check out the side buildings!
Even though I only visited the main building, it wasn't too noisy and could accommodate many visitors.
I came here for the ocean view, and it absolutely fulfilled my desire!
This cafe is perfect for enjoying the atmosphere and the ocean view.
I hope this helps anyone looking for oceanview cafes in Jeju.
Thank you!
