I visited Gyeongpo Beach and the Gangneung Jungang Market Night Market as part of my Gangneung travel itinerary.

Gangneung Travel Course: Gyeongpo Beach
Gyeongpo Beach is a representative beach in Gangneung.
With its long sandy beach, fine sand, and lush pine forest, it's a great summer resort with plenty to see and enjoy.
During the summer season, the beach is filled with parasols, and lifeguards are on duty, making it a safe and fun place to play.
You can rent beach gear like tubes and life jackets, and shower facilities are available.
After enjoying the beach, the next stop on the Onnuri Travel Map summer vacation is Gangneung Jungang Market.

This is Wolhwa Street, where the night market is held every Friday.
Just walking down the street makes you want to dance!
Gangneung Jungang Market Night Market
The Gangneung Jungang Market Night Market is crowded with people and full of delicious food! The aroma of savory dishes being grilled tickles your nose, and the crispy fried chicken is a must-try.
Large crabs are prepared for easy eating, making them very appetizing.
The Gangneung Jungang Market Night Market was bustling enough to beat the summer heat.
There were so many things to choose from, but I decided to try squid sundae, a local Gangneung specialty.
These days, crispy rice squid sundae seems to be trending.
It's grilled to a golden brown perfection and served with fermented squid, radish slices, and mustard sauce.
The crispy exterior and chewy squid, along with the moist squid sundae filling, was delicious!
I paid with my Digital Onnuri Gift Certificate! You can scan the Onnuri QR code in the store, or simply pay with a card registered in the Onnuri Gift Certificate app, making it hassle-free and convenient.
