Family Water Play Destination in Changnyeong: Open Until August 23

The Changnyeong Cultural Park water play area has opened, emerging as a summer attraction in the city.
With the peak of summer heat upon us and the sun shining brightly, the desire to escape to a cool place has grown. Hearing about the opening of the water play area at Changnyeong Cultural Park, where one can enjoy summer without traveling far, I decided to visit.
The water play area, operating until August 23, is a prime summer destination in Changnyeong, designed for children and families to enjoy summer safely and comfortably.
When I arrived shortly after the opening at 10 AM, there were no visitors yet, but all the water play facilities were operational. Cool water poured from a large bucket, and the mushroom fountain and various play structures were spraying water energetically. The morning scene, filled only with the sound of water instead of children's laughter, was enough to evoke a sense of summer leisure.
The sparkling droplets under the sunlight and the clear sound of water made me forget the heat just by looking at them. The well-maintained facilities reflected the care and attention put into their preparation.
Next to the water play area, there is a spacious Mongolian tent for guardians to relax. Under the green tent, benches and mats are provided, allowing guardians to comfortably rest while their children enjoy the water. The gentle breeze blowing through the area creates a pleasant space to take a break even in the hot summer.
The operating hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM, with a system of 40 minutes of operation followed by a 20-minute break to ensure the safety of children. This allows for sufficient rest and facility checks, ensuring a safer experience.
On-site, safety personnel in red uniforms were preparing for operations, and banners providing information on water quality management and usage rules were easily visible. By following the guidance of the safety personnel and adhering to basic safety rules, such as wearing swim diapers and restrictions on bringing food, anyone can enjoy the water play area with peace of mind.
Traveling far is not necessary during the hot summer. Spending time with family close to home, where children can play freely, creates precious summer memories that will last a lifetime.
The Changnyeong Cultural Park water play area may not be extravagant, but it offers clean facilities, safe operations, and comfortable resting spots—a perfect summer retreat in the city. Imagining the lively afternoon filled with children's laughter, the tranquil morning water play area felt like a small gift from summer.
This summer, if you wish to spend a happy day with your family in the cool water and the tent around the play area, be sure to visit the Changnyeong Cultural Park water play area. The coolest summer awaits you right nearby.
