2. A Pleasant Walk on Metasequoia Road
This place is not so much a large Metasequoia attraction but rather a lovely path for a light stroll. Surrounding views include the peaceful village of Hampyeong and fields, making it a great spot for leisurely walking thanks to the cool shade provided by the trees.
Especially on hot days, walking along this shaded path feels much more comfortable than being exposed to the sun. There are benches and pavilions scattered throughout, making it easy to take a break or enjoy a picnic. Even with a nearby stream, I noticed a lack of bugs, which added to the pleasant experience.
Instead of just snapping quick photos and leaving, I found it enjoyable to take in the surrounding village scenery while walking.
This place is great for a quiet date with a partner or a refreshing stop during a trip to Hampyeong. It feels like a forest bathing experience.
As you continue walking, you'll come across a small stream and the Doksan Bridge, marking the end of the Hampyeong Metasequoia Road.
