Have you heard of Haman Dolmen Park, a special place where you can experience ancient history and beautiful nature together?
You can enjoy the vast natural scenery along with dolmens that hold traces of the Bronze Age.
Located near the Malisan Tombs and Haman Museum, it is a great spot for a leisurely historical stroll.
In July 2025, the park will feature scenic views.
The park has comfortable walking paths, allowing visitors to leisurely appreciate the surrounding scenery.
During my visit last year at this time, the park was filled with beautiful lotus flowers.
The lush green lotus leaves and the pure white blossoms created a stunning landscape.
This time, however, construction was underway to enhance the lotus area.
Once the construction is completed in early August, a deck path will be created for closer viewing of the lotus flowers.
Although I couldn't see the blooming lotus this visit, I look forward to enjoying them up close once the project is finished.
I anticipate enjoying the landscape while walking along the newly created path amidst the lotus flowers.
Next year, Haman Dolmen Park will likely be even more convenient and beautiful!
The park is home to various dolmens, allowing visitors to closely examine traces of Korea's Bronze Age.
Each dolmen varies in size and shape, making it fun to compare them, and the engravings on the capstones are fascinating.
Observing these ancient relics evokes a sense of historical significance and allows one to imagine the past.
There is also a space depicting the process of moving dolmens, showcasing how large stones were transported.
This representation helps visitors understand the wisdom and efforts of people at that time.
Visiting with children can provide a natural learning experience about history.
Additionally, it prompts reflection on the remarkable skills and significance of our ancestors.
The park also offers insights into ancient rituals associated with dolmens.
While exploring the dolmens, I felt there are likely many Bronze Age artifacts beyond those from the Arakaya period in the Malisan Tombs.
The park is adorned with beautiful crape myrtle trees, enhancing the summer scenery.
The red blossoms harmonize beautifully with the green surroundings, adding a unique atmosphere.
Walking through this historic space while enjoying seasonal flowers is a delightful experience.
It was also a great spot to capture special summer memories under the crape myrtle trees.
Don't forget to visit the nearby Haman Museum!
After seeing the dolmens, exploring the exhibits will deepen your understanding of Haman's history and culture.
It was a wonderful place for those who want to enjoy both history and nature.
