As we approach the end of February, the spirit of spring is in the air.
For the citizens of Daegu, February holds a special significance,
as it is the time for Daegu Citizens' Week!

2026 Daegu Citizens' Week
Period: February 21 (Saturday) - February 28 (Saturday)
Together we open tomorrow, Daegu is back on its feet.
Since 2017, the period from February 21 to 28 has been designated as Daegu Citizens' Week.
This week commemorates the spirit of the National Debt Repayment Movement (February 21, 1907),
which arose during the nation's hardships, and the spirit of freedom from the 2.28 Democracy Movement (February 28, 1960).
It is a week to celebrate the origins of the civic spirit of Daegu,
which has always stood up first during difficult times.
This week is a time to reflect on the proud legacy of the citizens of Daegu.

Daegu Modern History Museum, Daegu Local History Museum, Daegu Bangjja Yugi Museum
From February 21 to April 30, various special lectures, field trips, and experience programs will be held.
