If you're looking for a great place to walk with your child in Ulsan, I highly recommend Bulgogi Farm Rural Theme Park.

Personally, I visit this park quite often, and it holds many cherished memories for me since I've been coming here since my pregnancy.

This park, located in Eonyang, has a different charm compared to the parks in downtown Ulsan.

Above all, the air is fresh and the surroundings are peaceful.

However, it’s not completely deserted; I’ve always seen at least a few people whenever I come, even late at night or early in the morning.

The park has ample parking space, making it relatively easy to park even on weekends.

I loved this park during my pregnancy, and walking a lap around it became part of my daily routine, even when I was feeling heavy and tired.

It takes about 30 to 50 minutes to walk around the park.

During my pregnancy, I needed a slow-paced walk, and this place was perfect with its flat paths and fresh air.

I often saw parents pushing strollers here as well.

There’s a path over the water that gives the feeling of walking on a lake, which I really enjoy.

However, my mom was afraid of this bridge and never walked on it. The length might be a bit daunting for those who are afraid of heights.

Still, every time I walk on this path, the cool breeze and beautiful scenery lift my spirits, so I make sure to walk here whenever I come alone.

This time, I brought a kite to fly with my child.

The weather has been great for kite flying lately with strong winds.

I let my child hold the kite and we slowly walked while trying to get it in the air. However, my child walked too slowly, causing the kite to drag on the ground.

Thinking it would be better to stand still, we climbed up to a pavilion. Surprisingly, the wind was strong enough to make the kite fly much better, and it was so much fun.

As we flew the kite, we shouted, "It’s going up! It’s going up! It’s going down! It’s going down!" which added excitement to the experience.

But then, while I was momentarily distracted, a problem occurred.

Although there aren’t many trees, our kite got caught in a branch.

When the kite got stuck, I tried to pull the string to free it, but it snapped instead.

When your kite gets caught in a tree:

Avoid pulling too hard. I didn’t pull aggressively, just gave it a slight tug, and it broke.
Loosen the string a bit. You need to wait for the wind to pick up and hope the kite shakes free.
If possible, use a long stick to gently push it free. I couldn’t reach it even with a stick because I’m short.
Never shake the tree, especially in parks with children around; it can be dangerous.

This time, I had to give up since I couldn't reach it. I wonder if it’s still stuck there now.

This playground operates as a water play area in the summer. Unlike other crowded places, this spot isn’t too busy, so I make sure to come here during the summer.

It feels like just yesterday when I thought about bringing my child here while I was pregnant, and now that my child can walk, it’s such a new experience.

Flying kites, walking, playing in the playground, taking photos—these little moments become precious memories with my child.
