A Perfect Family Outing at Hapcheon Ipgo Cultural Park

Many parents often find themselves wondering where to go with their children on weekends, right?
When choosing a family outing, I always look for places where the kids can see, touch, and experience things firsthand.

This time, I visited Hapcheon Ipgo Cultural Park, which turned out to be a fantastic destination for families with children.
It offers a space where kids can play in nature and learn, making it a fulfilling place where a day can quickly fly by.
1. The first reason to visit with kids: The Taxidermy Exhibition Hall
Inside Ipgo Cultural Park, there is a surprisingly large taxidermy exhibition hall.
This educational venue allows children to easily learn about ecosystems and nature while observing animal models. Seeing animals they usually only read about in books in real size sparked their excitement!
It's a great place where learning happens naturally during a trip, which is a delight for parents.
2. The second reason to visit with kids: The Fun Maze Path
Right after the taxidermy exhibition, you’ll find the maze path.
This isn’t just a simple walking path; it’s designed in the shape of a small maze. Kids can search for each other and hide, making it a fun activity.
Playing a little game to see who can find the way out first adds to the enjoyment.
3. The third reason to visit with kids: The Cactus Greenhouse
Ipgo Cultural Park also features a cactus greenhouse.
This small greenhouse showcases a variety of cacti and tropical plants, which leads to many curious questions from kids, like why some have so many thorns!
For children who enjoy observing plants, it’s a great learning experience.
4. The fourth reason to visit with kids: Rest Areas Throughout the Park
There’s a small pond within the park as well.
It has swings and benches scattered around for resting.
Parents can take a moment to relax while comfortably watching their kids play nearby. The large trees provide shade, making it perfect for walks in every season.
5. The fifth reason to visit with kids: The Amazing Playground!
Personally, this was the most satisfying part for me.
This large playground attracts visitors from other regions!
It’s much bigger than expected and has a variety of play equipment, allowing kids to play joyfully.
The playground is designed for parents to keep a close eye on their children, which is reassuring!
Unlike some cramped playgrounds where kids might bump into each other, this place is spacious and safe, so they can play without realizing how much time has passed.
Hapcheon Ipgo Cultural Park combines education, play, nature, and experience all in one place.
If you want to enjoy a light weekend in nature while letting your kids run freely, Hapcheon Ipgo Cultural Park is a must-visit!
