A Day of Fun in Gangnam
I'm currently writing this blog while watching a live broadcast of Playb.
After enjoying some delicious maze soba and roast katsudon at Butai, I visited the Anipop comic cafe.
Then, I bought some tasty desserts from the basement of Hyundai Department Store and explored COEX, making for a wonderfully short day.
I know that maze soba and abura soba are different, but I really think Noah should try the maze soba at Butai.
At Butai, you absolutely have to try the roast katsudon as well, and the prices are reasonable: maze soba is 11,000 won, and roast katsudon is 14,000 won.
About ten years ago, I also visited Butai when I was working near Samsung Station. It's great to see it becoming more famous.
After eating, I headed to the comic cafe. I was curious about having a comic cafe in Samsung Station, and I finally got the chance to visit.
The Anipop comic cafe has a variety of spaces where you can read comics, which is a great advantage.
There are massage chairs, individual seating like a study room, and long benches on both sides. It's nice because it doesn't hurt my back; the chairs are really comfortable.
After spending time at Anipop, I took the elevator to the 6th floor, where there's a goods shop.
I often buy bath products here, especially from the Bikkuritamago brand. This time, I bought a first-generation water Pokémon bath product, which I believe was 8,500 won.
In the basement of Hyundai Department Store at the Trade Center, I also bought some Dubai strawberry chocolate merchandise.
I purchased macarons at the Pierre Hermé popup, but looking back, I should have definitely gotten a croissant. The pistachio croissant looked really delicious.
At the COEX basement level 2 gacha, I hoped not to get the magic knight layers, but unfortunately, I ended up with two items I didn’t want.
It's unlucky, but also lucky at the same time.
I also enjoyed some time at the Starfield Library and K-Town for You at COEX.
At K-Town for You COEX, the Playb store is still there.
This is a recommended 8-hour indoor itinerary for a fun day around Samsung Station, visiting Butai, Anipop Comic Cafe, Hyundai Department Store, and COEX.
