Hello!

I'm back after just over a month~~ Hahaha

I'm back way too early for my own good.

I love Daejeon so much… (eyes welling up) I feel like I have to record everything, or I'll regret it.

Just kidding! I'm back to my Daejeon diary.

If I keep putting this off, I'll never upload it.

When I meet someone new, I think, “Ugh, I'll probably only see this person for half a year.”

When I meet someone I haven't seen in a while, I worry, “Will I be able to see them again after I leave Daejeon?”

I keep getting anxious because of it.

There are so many people I want to see, and so little time left in Daejeon. It's sad.

The only comforting thing is: I'm the only one leaving!

I realized at graduation photo time that almost no one is leaving.

Even if they do leave, they all go to Seoul.

Hahaha, if I'm just a little diligent, there's no reason to be sad!

I'll attend Daejeon diligently.

It might be sad if I'm left out.

Nah, I'm happy to not hang out sometimes.

First, a very late summer vacation recap~~

I saw a musical with my mom for the first time in a while.

Memphis

I saw it with the Lee Chang-seop & Yoo Ri-a pairing, and Lee Chang-seop seemed perfectly cast.

I love flashy musicals, and this one often had a stage & TV show concept, so I really enjoyed it.

But it was a performance at the Chungmu Art Center.

Going to work in Hyehwa in the morning - (taking an hour) eating lunch and going to work in Gwanak - (taking another hour) coming to Chungmu… made me feel like I was losing out.

Pizza place in Jangchung-dong before the musical.

These days, musicals even have photo booths…

환상적인 장면

One Friday at the very end of August.

Rushing to Suwon after finishing up a bunch of experiments…

I went to meet the 4th-week team of the study group.

It's funny how they're all first-year grad students, prospective grad students, or incoming grad students, and they often talk about academic societies, grad school life, and papers these days.

How did everyone in the study group go to grad school…?

We talked a lot without drinking alcohol.

50% of it was about papers.

ㄷㄷ

The age where talking about papers is fun.

It's fun to hear about other people's research.

I was proud to get Minyoung unnie's blog devotee certification.

Writer, why don't you write these days?

밝은 미래

I went to see Starfield Suwon after sleeping over.

Sungkyunkwan University people are so lucky….

They have Starfield and all.

A special thing here is that all the big dogs in Suwon seem to gather here.

I was happy to see so many big dogs.

Eunbin drove, and someone who learned to drive in America drives differently.

And I went to Suwon again the next day.

DTU women's gathering.

How did I spend the whole weekend with Sungkyunkwan University people and not go on a Sungkyunkwan University tour?

I definitely promised to do it next time.

Instead, I found out about a shaved ice 맛집 at Sungkyunkwan University.

We talked about grad school, jobs, and academic societies at this gathering, too.

A little bit of Denmark nostalgia.

Denmark!! I want to go!!

I also did research… I just didn't include photos because they'd look the same as the last post.

매력적인 사진

I also became a lot closer with the people in the lab, and after presenting in front of the professor after my official internship period ended, I relaxed a bit and started trying to visit all the cafes and bars in Hyehwa.

There's a salt bread 맛집 called Aubebe right in front of the lab.

It's really delicious.

When I eat alone, I usually go there and buy salt bread croissants?

With the female interns!!

Actually, I don't usually eat good food.

I eat at the Hyehwa cafeteria, and the general consensus is that it's worse than Kaimaru.

But I think it's okay.

People don't trust my 맛집 recommendations because I said the cafeteria is good…

This is the sky I took a picture of on the way to the cafeteria.

I quickly picked up my camera after seeing my senior taking a picture.

I was told I was an "F feeler" because I wasn't moved by it.

I'll fill my stomach first, then look at the sky.

I put on a fashion show to go to an important event.

Hyegyu said I looked like a Japanese bishoujo, but she was worried about my knees.

The bandage is the finishing touch.

But I didn't wear a skirt that day.

This is high school - college freshman nostalgia.

My phone is like my 5th phone since entering college because I lost it… dropped it… dropped it…

So I don't have any pictures from high school or my first or second year of college.

ㅠㅠ I'm saving them carefully whenever people send them to me.

I'm so sad…

따뜻한 추억

Another date with Mom.

I bought a suit for graduation photos.

All my friends said they were wearing bright colors or pretty dresses, so I wanted something like that, too…

But I didn't have any suits, and I also have interviews to go to, so I bought a pants suit.

I'll share my graduation photo review later.

Meeting Hong Juyeon after six months!!

It's so amazing that new middle school memories come to mind every time I meet her.

I'm so amazed by my middle school self.

How could I have been so purely focused on studying?

That era was so pure it felt malicious…

I like myself better now.

It would be great if I studied as hard as I did back then.

My experiment ended at 3pm that day.

I couldn't miss this great opportunity, so instead of going home early, I chose to go to Seongsu by myself.

놀라운 광경

화려한 장면

It was my first time really exploring Seongsu.

My jaw kept dropping.

Wow wow

I looked around and also got a fortune reading in Konkuk University (see fortune reading post).

I was proud that I seem to be good at playing alone now.

매력적인 사진

On the last Saturday before going down to Daejeon, I met the Prague team.

I went to Yongsan after my last day of work before going down!

The moment when the story of eating soju in Korea came true.

I don't really remember what we talked about, but I just talked a lot, laughed a lot... was funny... and had fun, I think.

Hmm, but the second place was really good.

I have to go again.

I was a little proud of myself for going hard that day for the first time in a while.

I was so excited. Thank you for taking care of me, guys.

감동적인 장면

I went down to Daejeon with my parents the next day.

First review of Jinro House after 5 years of living in Daejeon.

It was my first time eating tofu duruchigi without meat, but it was so delicious, and adding noodles is a must.

The scallion pancake was so-so.

The suyuk was really delicious.

There was quite a wait, so my parents resented it, but

I'm glad it was delicious.

Bought a fig sirable and arrived at my room!

Fig sirable is delicious.

I've tried several sirables while living in Daejeon.

My picks are:

Fresh tangerine sirable >> Mango sirable > Fig sirable > Marron sirable > (Strawberry sirable with unripe strawberries) in that order.

Oh, and Hyeyeon, who I thought I would be roommates with throughout college, started living on her own, so I'm living in a single room in my last semester.

For women who are staying in Daejeon for a short time,

I opened an Airbnb, so you're always welcome.

I've already let four people sleep over.

That's the end of my vacation review~~

September

School starts!

I'm taking 12 credits in my last semester, including 2 swimming credits.

Swimming, compulsory electives, liberal arts, and OS.

I crammed all my classes into Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

I take classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays,

and I go to the lab on Thursdays and Fridays.

Dividing my week into two parts makes

time go by really, really fast.

Time, don't go by so fast…

First day of school.

Somehow I took classes

and went to Choi Sung-ah's exhibition.

Sungah is so cool, it's a big deal.

Um.. I'll write my September diary again.

Sudden interruption tactic!

Bye!
