December 31 - January 1.

I went to the movies for the last date of 2025.

I really cried a lot while watching the movie.

(But I pretended to hold back my tears so no one would notice.)

It was truly heartbreaking...

I looked up the original film, but it didn't leave as much of an impact as the remake, which was a bit disappointing.

I think I just prefer Korean films more.

After the movie, I stopped by a bookstore because I wanted to find a book.

I was preparing for my bartender certification exam.

(I felt like I wouldn’t pass, so I skipped buying a book.)

I wandered around and caught my boyfriend to drive me somewhere.

(* We had a little fight a few days earlier, and I was still upset, telling him, “Find your own place to go.”)

He didn’t tell me where we were going, so I was internally screaming.

After about 48 minutes, we arrived at the café, Orange Tree!!

We talked things over and reconciled, then went to a restaurant for a meal.

I can't forget the cream jjambbong.

We went back to his place, turned on the New Year countdown channel, and counted down together.

Happy New Year, everyone!

I’m 23 now!!!

January 2.

Since it was the New Year, I decided to start fresh.

I went to Kyobo Bookstore to buy some books after checking various reviews online.

My boyfriend insisted on coming along.

I found a decent book, and we had lunch in Myeongdong.

We went to Yongga Hot Pot, but it was crowded.

We ended up having sweet and sour pork at a different place and then went to a café for dessert.

January 5.

We finally went to see Zootopia 2.

It felt like we had a lot of movie dates recently.

Zootopia was super fun; it made me feel like a kid again.

I can't wait for season 3!

We went to a café afterward and ordered three dishes because we were both starving.

1. Chicken Mayo Rice Bowl, 2. Bacon Cream Pasta, 3. Spicy Chicken.

Afterward, we had bubble tea and parted ways.

January 11 - January 12.

We went glamping for the first trip of the year!

It snowed a lot, so we sprayed anti-slip on the tires.

Before checking in, we visited a café that had the most delicious chocolate matcha latte.

We took many photos while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Bukhan River.

After checking in, we both took a two-hour deep sleep.

When we woke up, we had a simple dinner of meat and ramen.

We spent a lovely evening grilling meat and taking pictures.

The next day, we booked flights and accommodations for Jeju Island.

We decided to visit a jjimjilbang (Korean bathhouse) before parting ways.

After a warm soak, he drove me home.

January 13 - January 24.

During this time, we were both busy with work and school.

We spent a little time together when we could.

I painted some signs for the shop and shared snacks with my coworkers.

That's it.

January 25.

We went on a date again and visited a famous hot pot place.

Make sure to try the egg tart; it's incredibly delicious!

I felt like watching a play, so I went to see "Living Alone" in Daehangno.

I spent the day there and then went shopping before heading home.

January 29.

I had a meeting and enjoyed some good food, but I only remember the stressful issues.

I lived through January like this!!

Here’s to a great 2026!
