A Delightful Dining Experience at Solhyang in Gunpo

This is a subjective review based on my own experience.
On a rare leisurely weekend, we were contemplating where to have lunch when we stumbled upon a restaurant called 'Solhyang'.
It was my husband who found it, and although I had heard of it before, I had never visited.
The fact that they allow dogs made me more than 70% interested.
When we actually visited, we were able to bring our dog in a bag.
So, prepare a bag or a pet stroller if you plan to go.
Address: 184 Byeonyeong-ro, Gunpo
Business Hours: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
It was a bit surprising to find such a tranquil restaurant tucked away in a corner of Gunpo.
You can take a simple walk before or after your meal.
As I generally enjoy fish dishes, I ordered the grilled hairtail and cod set menu, adding some seasoned greens. Rice is ordered separately.
Overall, my husband, our little child, and I all enjoyed a delicious meal, so I wanted to recommend this place to those looking for good food in Gunpo.
Solhyang in Gunpo caught my attention with its spacious and pleasant atmosphere.
The tables were well-spaced, allowing for a comfortable dining experience, and I could see why many families visit.
It would be a great choice for those visiting with parents or looking for a gathering spot.
We noticed a lot of family groups dining around us.
You can eat both inside and outside the restaurant, enjoying the feeling of dining out.
Shortly after we ordered, a variety of side dishes were served, beautifully arranged and giving a clean, traditional meal vibe.
Before the main dishes arrived, the table felt abundant.
We could refill side dishes from a self-service corner, where I found more options than the basic ones.
I tried the pumpkin porridge, which was sweet and perfectly suited my taste.
Finally, the long-awaited hairtail and cod arrived. The first thing that caught my eye was the appetizing braised cod.
The red seasoning was evenly distributed, and its glossy appearance was mouthwatering.
The cod was tender yet chewy, and the mildly spicy-sweet seasoning paired perfectly with rice.
The grilled hairtail was also satisfying, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
The clean taste of the hairtail made it enjoyable even for those who aren't fond of fish.
The portion size was unexpectedly large, making it suitable for 2-3 people to share.
The staff were friendly, and the food was served neatly, contributing to a high level of satisfaction.
If you're looking for a family-friendly dining spot in Gunpo, I highly recommend Solhyang for its generous offerings and pleasant atmosphere.
