Healing Experience at a Beautiful Hair Salon

A weekday visit to Junohair Myeongdong Arts Theater Branch felt more like stopping by a calm café than a busy salon. From the private shampoo room to the finishing blow-dry, the entire experience focused on relaxation and comfort.
With a simple cut, see-through bangs, and a styled blow-dry, the result was natural yet polished, making it an ideal stop before evening plans in Myeongdong.
A Hair Salon That Feels Like a Café
There are several Junohair salons in Myeongdong, but among the ones I’ve visited, this branch stood out the most.
The Junohair Myeongdong Arts Theater Branch felt especially pleasant and visually beautiful from the moment I arrived.
Located on the 3rd floor, it has only been open for about a year, and at first glance, it genuinely looked like a café.
I visited on a weekday afternoon, and the space was calm and quiet.
Thanks to my reservation, I was guided in immediately without any waiting time.
The seat I was assigned to felt like a small private room, which instantly made me relax.
Consultation and Desired Style
I consulted with Designer Yerin about my hair and the kind of change I wanted for the upcoming winter season.
The plan was simple but refreshing: a bangs cut, light trimming of the length, and a clean blow-dry finish.
Before the cut, my hair length felt uneven, but I didn’t want it shortened too much.
I specifically asked to keep the overall length while tidying it up.
Private Shampoo Room and Moisture Care
One of the highlights was the shampoo room.
All shampoo rooms are private, which made the experience feel much more comfortable and personal.
I received moisture care as a service, and the steam treatment alone felt incredibly relaxing.
Listening to the sound of water while sitting quietly made it easy to unwind.
The moisture care, included as part of the regular process, took about 10 minutes.
After shampooing, I also received a scalp massage.
I prefer stronger pressure, so I asked for it, and my scalp felt noticeably softer and lighter afterward.
Cut, Blow-Dry, and Final Finish
The cut focused on creating see-through bangs that looked natural from the first day.
The entire process, from consultation to finish, took about an hour.
Since I’m not confident with styling on my own, I asked for waves that I usually can’t recreate at home.
The blow-dry was done with a curling iron, creating soft curls with outward-turned ends.
Because I had plans later that evening, I was even more satisfied with the polished finish.
Overall Impression
Once everything was done, my hair felt light, soft, and naturally styled.
The bangs blended in smoothly without feeling awkward, even on the first day.
Friends immediately noticed and complimented my hair, which made the experience even better.
If you have plans in Myeongdong and want both styling and a calm, healing atmosphere,
this Junohair branch is a great place to stop by and refresh your look.
