Time flies! The serious dieting period is approaching, and it's already mid-February. I usually skip breakfast, but instead of snacking, I've been having protein shakes. Lately, I've been enjoying the Barryway protein shake in chocolate flavor.

I heard that there's a chocolate churros flavor of the snack called 'Kkobuk Chip,' but I haven't tried it myself. It has a chocolate flavor with a hint of cinnamon. It wasn't too sweet, which I liked. The ingredients are also good!

Since I had to go out for work, I had lunch outside and ordered tonkatsu. I only ate one of the two shrimp tempuras and about half of the tonkatsu. The leftover rice, shrimp tempura, and tonkatsu went to my colleague's stomach. I prefer calling it 'donkasu' instead of 'tonkatsu' because it sounds tastier! When I'm in a good mood, I sometimes call it 'dongkasu.' I only remembered after coming home that the owner didn't give us the two cans of zero cola we ordered. Since it was a kiosk payment system, the owner made a little extra money.

When I returned from work, I found a cute note. During a break in the meeting, I brought some apples into the conference room and shared them with my manager. I had three pieces. Fresh apples are definitely tastier than processed ones!

I had a gym membership that was on hold until January, but I still haven't gone. I was afraid that even if I went, I could only walk slowly, and I didn't want to strain my back, which is healing. My manager also told me several times that working out was still too much for me. On the way home, when he asked if I was going to the gym, I told him I couldn't go, and he suggested I get a refund. He said that spending time there without using it is just wasting money, and I should go once I'm better. So, I went to the gym after work to get a refund. They said I couldn't get a refund because I signed up at a promotional price. I thought it was strange since they only accept members at promotional prices. When I mentioned it was due to my back issue, they said I could extend my hold period if I provided a medical certificate. Sigh. I was planning to use the refund for a protein shake!

For dinner after work, I had the Barryway coffee flavor. It had a unique taste that reminded me of something between heat hunting and wild body. I thought it would be a nice treat! After trying all the flavors of the Barryway protein shake, my preference is grain puff >>> coffee >>> chocolate > matcha. Matcha has the best ingredients, and I usually love matcha, but...!!! I wonder if it would taste different if I tried it again.

Today was the last working day before the Lunar New Year holiday. I went to Seoul Station in the morning to participate in a picketing event. I dressed lightly because the temperature was above zero, but it was freezing, and I was shivering. Maybe that's why I felt extra hungry.

Here's a picketing selfie! I usually don't hold a sign and just distribute pamphlets to citizens, but since I couldn't take a picture, I held a small sign for the photo.

After the picketing and press conference, we went out for our last lunch before the holiday. My colleague's hands were so yellow from peeling a box of tangerines that I joked about it! Let's share the delicious tangerines.

For lunch, we had beef. They said if we participated in a review event, we could get a cheesy egg dish and some other goodies, so I volunteered to write a review. I made sure to fill up on beef since it's essential to have a hearty meal. I think I only had a couple of spoonfuls of the side dishes, but I ate a lot of meat. As a student living alone, it's hard to eat vegetables, so I refilled my lettuce wraps three times!

After lunch, I took a stroll around Olive Young to help with digestion. I realized at home that my bloated stomach was due to my menstrual cycle.

I wondered if my lunch would digest, and it did! I felt hungry again, so I had the Protein One black sesame flavor for dinner. The sweet and nutty flavor was delightful, perfect for my taste! I think it could be a bit less sweet, though. I still feel the sweetness lingering in my mouth. Next time, I’ll add more milk!

I also completed the medical certificate issuance and gym hold that I couldn't finish yesterday! This means I need to stick to my diet until May to get back into working out. But right now, my only options are to eat less and walk more. (Yes, just eat less and walk more!)

But honestly, I wonder if this is truly the dieting period because I feel like I'm eating too much. I should focus on filling up healthily! What should I eat tomorrow?
