A Special Christmas Dinner at Dipin Euljiro 3-ga

Hello!!
Today, I want to share my experience at the restaurant 'Dipin Euljiro 3-ga,' run by the talented chef from the show Black and White Chef!
I've been really into Black and White Chef Season 2 lately, even though I usually don't watch Netflix much. Both seasons have so many of my ideal types that it's overwhelming!
My ideal types are passionate, creative, and hardworking people, regardless of gender. Everyone is just so cool!
Anyway, last Christmas Eve, I showed you my review of the Nutcracker performance. After the show, I went straight to the Christmas special dinner course at Dipin Euljiro 3-ga, and it was delicious!
As a solo person (which is typical for me during Christmas), I decided to have a girls' night out with my friend, who I affectionately call my boyfriend.
As you know, making reservations for Christmas is a nightmare. I had set alerts on Catch Table for various places, and luckily, Dipin Euljiro 3-ga was still open for Christmas reservations!
I was excited to try the menu, and as soon as the alert went off, my friend and I quickly made a reservation. We were worried it would be like signing up for classes, but we both got our spots without any issues!
Now, let's dive into the food! The atmosphere at Dipin Euljiro 3-ga is a mix of upscale dining without being overly formal. The Asian fusion decor gives it a unique vibe.
On Christmas Eve, the tables were mostly couples, with only a few mixed groups. My friend and I were the only all-girls table, which made us giggle as we enjoyed our night out!
The Christmas special course was priced at 75,000 KRW per person, which, considering the holiday and the course meal, felt like a good deal.
All the dishes were well-prepared, and the flow of the menu was great. However, we had to order drinks, and since we both are light drinkers, we opted for non-alcoholic highballs, which had a nice whiskey aroma.
The overall taste of the food was slightly salty, but definitely not bad! Each dish was well-crafted, perfect as bar snacks, and paired wonderfully with drinks.
One of my favorites was the shrimp croquette, which was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The scallop ceviche was also delightful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
The beef tartare was a standout for me, served with chips that complemented the flavors beautifully.
The lamb chops were delicious, and the barbecue chicken had a lovely caramel teriyaki sauce that paired well with grilled vegetables.
For dessert, the yuzu sorbet was a refreshing end to the meal, although I wish there had been a bit more of it!
After the dinner, we strolled around Myeongdong, enjoying the festive atmosphere, and even stopped for some street food. It was a lovely Christmas Eve filled with warm memories!
Overall, if you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy a special meal during the holidays, Dipin Euljiro 3-ga is a fantastic choice!
