To celebrate our anniversary, we visited Sushiariga for their omakase course.

I enjoy watching the food vlogger, Dudley, and decided to trust his recommendation since he rated this place highly!

One of the best things about Sushiariga is that it's corkage-free!

So, I bought a bottle of Chablis from Trader Joe's.

But, it rained that day, and the paper shopping bag ripped, causing the wine bottle to break!

My mental state shattered along with it! LOL!

I was heading straight to the omakase restaurant after work, and I ended up offering a bottle of wine to the lobby of someone else's company building...

Just thinking about it makes me feel regretful, dizzy, and sad.

So, I rushed to a wine shop near Namdaemun Market!

I got a recommendation for a white wine to enjoy with the omakase and bought a bottle.

Haha... almost twice the price for a bottle of wine...?

I held this friend tightly, making sure it wouldn't break ㅠㅠ

Sushiariga is located near Yangjae Station.

The accessibility is not bad!

Valet parking is available (₩3,000), but we took the subway.

The building entrance was nicely decorated.

Upon entering and mentioning the corkage service, they promptly prepared wine glasses for us!

The first course was a bite-sized appetizer!

It contained shrimp and various seafood, which was perfect for whetting our appetites.

The three types of sashimi were fresh and delicious.

Assorted small dishes

The composition changes each time.

There was a dish made from peas, another from bracken (fernbrake), and it was fascinating how familiar ingredients were transformed into dishes with completely new flavors.

Overall, the menu progression, which gradually stimulated the appetite, was truly impressive!

Snow crab appetizer

The presentation was fun.

The crab meat was prepared so that it was easy to eat. It was really good.

Steamed abalone and fried octopus

The abalone was incredibly moist, and it was a shame there were only two pieces ㅠㅠ

The abalone liver sauce was also incredibly delicious.

When they were preparing this dish, they were waving the knife while cutting the abalone, so I asked why.

They explained it was a "wave-cutting" technique, making the abalone less slippery and allowing the sauce to penetrate better.

I don't usually like fried food very much,

but the fried octopus was savory and cleanly fried, so it was quite tasty.

Grilled Jeju tilefish and rice

I personally dislike eating grilled fish because it's a hassle to remove the bones.

But it was fantastic because they prepared it in an easy-to-eat way and served it with rice!

즐거운 순간

값진 경험

After cleansing the palate with a light and clear soup,

the sushi course began in earnest!

Flounder and sea bream!

The flounder and sea bream were delicious.

But they had even more delicious sushi prepared

They continuously checked in carefully to make sure the rice, seasoning, and wasabi were just right.

On the left are scallops and amberjack!

즐거운 순간

밝은 미래

Herring and yellowtail

The herring was unexpectedly delicious, and I considered asking for an encore.

And from the yellowtail onwards, I asked them to reduce the amount of rice.

Horse mackerel, tuna marinated in soy sauce, and tuna belly!

I originally really liked horse mackerel

It was delicious, but the tuna belly just melted in my mouth.

Adding horse mackerel and tuna belly to the encore list!

Sushi with sea urchin and shrimp!

This one was also really creamy and delicious..

Please take another look at the noodles with sea urchin.

It's really, really delicious... (crying)

Also, why is the shrimp so plump and firm?

So delicious...

And then, the menu item I was really looking forward to...

The one on Dudley's video thumbnail!

신비로운 모습

Sushi with salmon roe!!

Oh my god…It's crazy... truly!

The moment I ate this, I forgot all about the other ones I was considering for an encore.

The salmon roe filled my mouth

and popped one by one. I thought there were fireworks going off in my mouth.

따뜻한 추억

This is what it looks like when made with the normal amount of rice.

The salmon roe was really trying to invade my mouth...

This is the sushi that my companion ate!

즐거운 순간

매력적인 사진

The one in the middle is mackerel box sushi, and I don't know what the others are!!!

I couldn't eat it because I gave up after eating the salmon roe.

Wow, I was so full that I felt like my stomach would burst.

I kept asking when it would end because there was so much food on the dinner course.

That's why I want to go again.

My final encore sushi

The salmon roe is overflowing...

I was going to pass because there was no room for an encore.

But the chef told me that I would really regret it if I didn't have one.

I just ate it, and I would have greatly regretted it if I hadn't.

따뜻한 추억

To. Chef Kim Tae-mo.

Thank you for telling me to eat it....

I was unbelievably happy thanks to you.

인상 깊은 모습

This is my companion's encore!

What was it...I forgot what it was too!

I gave up halfway through,

so they gave us three encores.

The Sushiariga dinner course finally ended with the last dessert, ice cream.

Overall

"The best omakase I've ever had"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+????

The price of ₩130,000 per person may be a bit 부담스러운, but

Considering the corkage-free price, Sushiariga seems quite reasonable.

특별한 순간

특별한 순간

I can confidently say that it was one of the Top 3 happiest moments of 2025...

And our chef, Kim Tae-mo,

kindly explained all the menus and answered all my questions.

I had a great time because he took care of us with wit.

I had a happy and stomach-splitting experience at 'Sushiariga'.

The course seems to change with the seasons, so I want to go again.

I must go again later!!!!!!
