Spicy Squid and Pork Belly Bliss: A Visit to Ajju in Nonhyeon!
We took advantage of our friend's Friday morning work schedule to have a jjusam (spicy stir-fried squid and pork belly) party!
It had been a while since I'd had it, and it was such a delicious and satisfying dish. I can still picture the look on my friend's face, like that of the 'Giyoung banana' meme, as they devoured it with pure joy.
When you think of jjusam in Sinnonhyeon Station, one place immediately comes to mind: Ajju. You can choose your spice level from 1 to 3!
The combination of spicy squid and savory pork belly is simply mouthwatering, and the fried rice at the end is an absolute must!
But more than the food, the owner and staff were all so cheerful and friendly, making the atmosphere as perfect as the food itself. We laughed a lot during our meal and had such a fun time that I'm sure I'll be back whenever I crave jjukkumi (spicy stir-fried squid).
Ajju is definitely the first place that comes to mind when I think of jjukkumi in Sinnonhyeon!

Bus: Get off at Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 3 Bus Stop (2-minute walk) → Turn right at Hyundai Motor Sinsa Branch → Walk 46m to the left of GS25 Nonhyeon Mirae Branch
It's quite popular and usually crowded! There are quite a few seats available, so it's manageable!
Apparently, Chef Edward Kwon, who appeared on Black and White Chef, took pictures here!
They've received many awards, so you can rest assured of the quality!
