Recently, for my husband's birthday, a friend highly recommended EAK, a sous-vide steakhouse. Known for its delicious sous-vide steaks and pleasant atmosphere, we quickly made a reservation at this popular spot near Bupyeong Station.
EAK is located at 30, 12beon-gil, Sijang-ro, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, on the second floor. The restaurant operates from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
1. Prime Location
I was pleasantly surprised to find such a restaurant in the heart of Bupyeong. Thanks to my friend, I discovered this gem and couldn’t wait to visit. The wooden exterior of the restaurant gives it a warm, inviting steakhouse vibe, making me even more curious about the interior.
2. The Allure of EAK
The name EAK intrigued me, and I was eager to learn its meaning. I visited with my kids, and they were excited to dine out after a long time. The highlight of EAK is its unlimited steak refills, which is prominently advertised, making the experience even more enticing.
Inside, the warm lighting and vibrant atmosphere made it a delightful place for my children. It felt like a classic American steakhouse, even though I had never been to one before. The seating options range from cozy four-person tables to larger group seating, making it suitable for gatherings. One side has windows, providing a spacious feel.
Not only is steak available for unlimited refills, but there’s also a salad bar that guests can freely enjoy. As soon as we were seated, we headed straight to the salad bar, and the kids followed eagerly. The variety of delicious items made it easy to fill our plates, and the portions were generous enough to satisfy my children.
In addition to salads, there were fries and nachos that the kids loved. The convenience of being able to snack freely during the meal was appreciated.
We ordered the B course for unlimited refills. The prices were reasonable: 39,900 KRW for adults, 34,900 KRW for elementary students, and 17,900 KRW for preschoolers, which is quite a deal!
3. Sous-Vide Cooking Method
The steaks at EAK are prepared using a low-temperature sous-vide method, resulting in tender, flavorful meat. As soon as we ordered, the steaks were grilled and served warm, allowing us to enjoy fresh steaks throughout our meal. The open kitchen added to the excitement as the kids watched the cooking process.
The B course includes unlimited beef, chicken, hamburger steak, pork, and sausages, allowing me to indulge in my favorites. I was initially busy taking care of the kids, but by the second refill, I could fully enjoy the meal.
The salad bar offered a variety of vegetables and fried dishes, which I enjoyed while planning to eat a lot of meat. My husband loved the food and expressed gratitude for being able to celebrate his birthday at such a wonderful place.
4. Delicious Fries
There were tomato and cream pasta options on the menu, both very affordable and delicious. EAK offers not only steak but also individual menu items for those interested.
5. Cream Pasta
The cream pasta topped with a poached egg creates a rich, creamy dish when the yolk is mixed in. Personally, I’m a fan of cream pasta, and I ended up enjoying it all myself.
Overall, EAK is a fantastic choice for birthdays or special occasions, offering satisfying food, atmosphere, and great value.
