Today, we visited a hot dog factory in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province, which produces an impressive 20,000 hot dogs each day.
The first step in the process involves creating a foam using sugar and powdered eggs. Next, flour and starch are added to create a smooth dough with a bread-like texture. This dough is then deep-fried at approximately 170 degrees Celsius for about 7 minutes, resulting in delicious hot dogs. We are curious about how tasty they truly are!
