Discovering a Hidden Gem at Cheongju Lotte Outlet

While searching for a great restaurant at Cheongju Lotte Outlet,
I naturally made my way up to the second-floor food court.
Taking the escalator, I was greeted by a surprisingly spacious and well-organized food court.
My first impression was quite positive.
The overall atmosphere was definitely clean and inviting.
With ample space between tables, it felt comfortable even when crowded,
making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal.
Especially the seats by the window were delightful,
bathed in sunlight and offering a pleasant ambiance,
creating a subtle sense of competition for seats.
I could see why many prefer this spot when looking for a restaurant at Lotte Outlet.
As I browsed through various outlets,
one place that caught my eye was Kyushu Ultra Ramen.
Being a ramen enthusiast, it was an easy choice,
especially with the numerous blue ribbon stickers adorning the storefront.
These stickers indicated multiple awards,
which added to my trust in the restaurant.
Furthermore, the hygiene rating was excellent,
providing peace of mind even before dining.
I decided to order the ramen set.
Instead of picking individual items,
the meal was a well-rounded composition centered around ramen.
The ramen came with gyoza, salad, and even mentaiko rice,
making it unnecessary to order anything extra for a satisfying meal.
Once the food arrived, I thought, "This would be filling even for one person."
It wasn’t just about filling my stomach; the variety added to the enjoyment of eating.
This ramen was visually appealing,
with thick chashu, soft-boiled egg, seaweed, and bean sprouts.
The toppings were generous, making it visually satisfying.
The broth had a rich color,
perfectly catering to ramen lovers.
The noodles had a nice bouncy texture,
and when paired with the chashu,
the flavors melded beautifully, enhancing the overall quality.
The broth was not too heavy,
striking a balance that made it easy to finish.
Even as I ate, I didn't feel overwhelmed or fatigued by the flavors.
The balanced broth kept me wanting more.
In terms of quality, this ramen was quite impressive!
I appreciated that they provided a separate spicy sauce,
allowing me to adjust the heat to my liking.
Initially, I enjoyed the broth as it was,
but adding a bit of the sauce transformed it into a spicy delight.
This ability to change the flavor within a single bowl was surprisingly satisfying.
Eating the bean sprouts with the noodles added a nice crunch,
making the experience even more enjoyable.
The side gyoza was also quite good,
crispy on the outside and moist on the inside,
perfectly complementing the ramen.
The mentaiko rice was savory and nutty,
a nice addition to the meal,
while the salad provided a light palate cleanser.
Overall, the meal felt like a well-curated dining experience.
I left with the thought that I would definitely return.
If you're ever at Cheongju Lotte Outlet and craving ramen,
I highly recommend stopping by Kyushu Ultra Ramen!
