A Memorable Visit to Mattoloman with My Dog

During my visit to Mattoloman with my dog, I was touched by the warm consideration of the staff.

This trip was a delightful outing to Anyang Art Park with my furry friend.

Feeling bored at home, I searched for places where dogs are welcome and found 'Anyang Art Park' to be a perfect choice.

With its valleys, riverside, and dog-friendly policies, we set off around 11 AM.

Upon arriving at 'Anyang Art Park', parking turned out to be a challenge.

We enjoyed a meal by the valley, where dining is allowed only after ordering food.

Although there were public parking lots along the way, we had to wait a long time to park at the end of the park.

After exploring the area with our pet stroller, we sought a place to eat as it was quite hot.

Using my phone to search or visiting restaurants directly, I always check if dogs are allowed.

After several failed attempts, we finally chose 'Mattoloman at Anyang Art Park'.

At Mattoloman, indoor dining with pets is not allowed, and we were informed that meals are typically served outdoors.

Despite the heat, we preferred to eat outside.

As we settled at an outdoor table, a staff member came out to ask if we wanted to dine outside because of our dog.

They kindly assisted us in dining inside, allowing us to place the pet stroller next to a slightly opened folding door.

While we couldn't fully enter indoors, I truly appreciated their effort to accommodate guests with pets.

Thanks to their thoughtfulness, we enjoyed a comfortable meal despite the hot weather, and the kindness of the staff left us with great memories.

Finding restaurants that welcome dogs can be challenging these days, so I was especially satisfied with their considerate approach.

If you're planning a visit to Anyang Art Park with your dog, I recommend checking in advance whether dogs are allowed and inquiring about outdoor or available spaces.

Mattoloman is known for making tofu in-house.

We ordered two servings of Mattoloman's signature dish.

Even though it was a hot day, it felt appropriate to enjoy the heat with a warm meal.

There were many guests inside the restaurant, so I couldn't take photos of the interior.

Before our ordered dishes arrived, we set up at the self-service soft tofu corner.

There’s also a self-service corner for basic side dishes.

The set menu included tofu and bossam.

True to their reputation for making tofu, the taste was exceptional.

Alongside the tofu set, we also had tofu stew.

Despite the temperature exceeding 30 degrees outside, we enjoyed the coolness of the tofu stew inside the restaurant, exclaiming, 'Wow, this is refreshing!'

Before our food arrived, my dog took a short walk around the restaurant and enjoyed some treats.

While I always wonder if bringing my dog along is the right choice, I realize there’s no definitive answer.

After a delightful meal, we saw a sign that said, 'Feel free to take as much bean curd residue as you want.'

We grabbed two bags from the freezer, which turned out to be quite large, and shared one with a neighbor.

While the taste of the food is important, the small acts of kindness shown to visitors create lasting impressions.

We had a wonderful dining experience.
