밝은 미래These days, Vietnamese restaurants are all the rage, and there are so many good ones! But it seems like Thai restaurants aren't as popular as they used to be. Maybe that's why it's so hard to find a truly delicious Thai place. Luckily, I stumbled upon a gem recently.

Thai Noodle & Cook

Address: #129, 1st floor, Cheonggyecheon Doosan We've The Zenith, 17 Dasan-ro 46-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul

Hours: Weekdays 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM (Last order at 8:30 PM) / Weekends: Closed

The location is super convenient, right next to Sindang Station.

True to my clueless self, I got a little lost finding it. Just head straight past the Zenith GS building, and you'll see it.

The interior is small but efficiently arranged with tables.

I noticed the place of origin label posted in two different spots and a picture of a dog.

Dogs are allowed, but only one at a time after 2:30 PM.

The space is a bit cramped, so it might not be the most comfortable place for a long visit with your furry friend.

They have a pretty extensive menu. I read reviews saying that almost everything is good, so it was hard to choose! In the end, I went with the Tom Yum Rice Noodles (₩15,900), which I hadn't had in a while. When I ordered, the owner asked if I liked cilantro, and I said yes!!

It's hard to find good Tom Yum Rice Noodles. Does anyone know a good place????

After ordering, I went to the self-serve bar and got some pickled radish and broth.

The owner was so friendly! He even offered to add some scallions for me and brought them over in a small dish.

감동적인 장면

Each table has a recommended recipe and various seasonings and sauces.

They had lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, chili powder, peanut powder, and chili vinegar – many places don't have all of these! I knew this place was legit.

My Tom Yum Rice Noodles arrived!

I first had Tom Yum Goong in college when a senior introduced me to it. I was so intrigued by the spicy, smooth, and sour flavors. I ate it often after that. There were many Thai restaurants back then, especially good ones near Hongdae, but they all disappeared at some point. Lately, the Tom Yum Goong I've had felt more like spicy rice noodles. But these Tom Yum Rice Noodles instantly brought me back to that first taste. It was perfectly spicy, smooth, and sour.

소중한 기억

I added some lime juice and fish sauce and all the cilantro they gave me and enjoyed every bite.

My sister also loves Tom Yum Goong but hasn't been able to find a place she likes. I called her as soon as I tasted it and made plans to come back together.

Besides what I ordered today, so many other dishes looked delicious! I want to come with a group of people and try everything.
