Sometimes, while working, you suddenly crave a specific dish. On this day, my colleague and I agreed right from the morning, "Today, we must have sushi for lunch!" As soon as lunchtime came, we rushed to Mikisushi in Seongsu.

I had been keeping an eye on this sushi spot in Seongsu, known for its quality, and I finally got to visit.

To cut to the chase, the quality was so good that it felt almost a shame to visit during a short lunch break. The dishes not only looked great for photos but also had fresh ingredients that elevated the overall satisfaction.

Let me share my experience at Mikisushi, perfect for a working lunch.

Mikisushi is conveniently located in Seongsu, making it a great spot for a lunch appointment. Seongsu is bustling with many companies and hot spots, so it tends to be crowded during lunchtime.

However, the accessibility was good, allowing me to quickly enjoy a meal with my colleague. It’s definitely a place to remember when you want clean and delicious sushi during lunch.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, the atmosphere struck me. The Japanese-style decor was vibrant, making me feel like I was on a brief trip to Japan. The warm wooden tones and Japanese ornaments created a lovely ambiance, perfect for taking photos.

One reason Mikisushi felt special was the quality of the sushi. They use recipes and know-how from the master chef of the Shilla Hotel's Aria restaurant, which heightened my expectations. The balance of rice and fish, texture, and seasoning was impeccable.

Another interesting point is that Mikisushi is known as the original store for bento sushi introduced by Chef Choi Gang-rok from the show Black and White Chef 2. Knowing this story made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

I ordered the Mikisushi weekday lunch set with 10 pieces, which was perfect for a light yet satisfying meal. The selection included a variety of fish like tuna, flounder, salmon, and more, making it fun to choose and eat.

The presentation was beautiful, with the colorful sushi arranged beautifully on the plate. The quality of the basic fish was excellent, enhancing my satisfaction with the sushi.

Overall, Mikisushi offers a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend it for a working lunch. It's a place I would love to revisit whenever I crave sushi in Seongsu.
