A Delightful Summer Experience at Yeongdeok Crab Restaurant

Early summer in Yeongdeok is wonderful under the bright sunlight, but there's something special about the sea sparkling gently beneath a slightly cloudy sky.
The cool sea breeze made me crave a warm feast of snow crab, so I headed to Yeongdeok Crab Restaurant with my family.
As soon as we entered the crab street near Ganggu Port, a large crab model caught my eye, and its presence lifted my spirits even before we arrived.
It was hard to pass by the tank at the entrance without stopping; the crabs were lively, and it was clear why regulars keep coming back.
Watching the crabs in the tank only heightened my anticipation for the meal.
Parking was convenient, with spaces available next to the restaurant and a public parking lot right in front.
When traveling with family, parking can be chaotic, but here, the layout was straightforward, making everything easier.
The restaurant felt welcoming for travelers, with an elevator for easy access for strollers and wheelchairs, which is a significant plus for family meals.
The interior featured standing tables, making it easy to get up and move around, and the spacious layout was comfortable.
The restroom was clean and well-maintained, especially the women's restroom, which was bright and tidy, reminiscent of a department store's facilities.
The view from the window showcased a beautiful harbor, making the dining experience feel like a part of the trip rather than just a meal.
We ordered a snow crab course and added steamed crab along with a red crab ramen.
As soon as the dishes arrived, the table was filled with a vibrant array of food, including pumpkin porridge, fish cutlet, grilled flounder, crab leg sashimi, and more.
The sashimi set was visually stunning, with salmon, flounder, octopus, and squid beautifully displayed.
The salmon melted in my mouth, the flounder was fresh and chewy, and the octopus had a delightful bounce.
The deep-fried crab legs were my personal favorite, with a light and crispy batter that revealed tender crab meat inside.
The butter-grilled crab legs had a rich aroma, and the combination of cheese and butter made for an irresistible dish.
The crab rice was deeply flavorful, with the crab's essence seeping into the rice, making it hard to stop eating.
Finally, the shabu-shabu provided a warm and hearty finish to the meal, and the red crab ramen was a refreshing end, enhancing the overall dining experience.
After the meal, we enjoyed free coffee and ice cream in the cafe area, making the end of our visit feel even more satisfying.
Overall, Yeongdeok Crab Restaurant offered a delightful experience with a stunning sea view, generous crab courses, and a clean, friendly atmosphere.
