While planning my trip to Jeju, I wanted to indulge in the delicious Halalchi dishes that can only be found there.

After searching for a place that offers a variety of menu items, I visited the Halalchi Jungmun branch, a popular restaurant near Jeju Shinhwa World.

1. A Place to Enjoy Various Dishes at Once

Halalchi Jungmun Branch

Address: 7 Jungmun Tourist Road, Seogwipo, Jeju

Opening Hours: Daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Last order at 9:00 PM)

Parking: Available in front of the restaurant

High chairs and pet-friendly options are available.

Located close to the Jungmun tourist area, it was convenient to stop by for a meal after exploring the surroundings.

2. Clean and Organized Atmosphere

Upon entering, the restaurant had a clean and tidy ambiance, with spacious table arrangements that made it comfortable for groups to dine together.

A self-service bar was available, neatly organized with various side dishes.

For families visiting with children, there were plenty of high chairs available.

3. Reasonably Priced with a Variety of Food Options

The menu included set options featuring grilled and braised Halalchi dishes. The Halal Set could be ordered for a minimum of two people at a reasonable price of 79,000 KRW.

Shortly after placing the order, the dishes began to arrive, showcasing a variety of Jeju cuisine that made it feel like a must-visit spot near Jeju Shinhwa World.

The side dishes were served neatly, providing a clean impression overall.

The abalone rice was aromatic and topped generously with abalone, making it visually appealing.

The subtle umami flavor of the abalone infused into the rice, enhancing its rich taste.

The seaweed soup was a comforting dish that complemented the other hearty items on the table.

The broth was light and had a delicate umami taste, which I appreciated.

4. A Generous Combination of Braised and Grilled Dishes

The whole grilled Halalchi was visually striking, with its golden-brown exterior and moist, tender flesh.

It was perfectly seasoned, and the soft texture melted in the mouth.

The highlight of the meal was the braised Halalchi, served in a large pot with plenty of abalone that added a delightful texture and flavor.

The fish meat was firm and well-seasoned, with an intense umami flavor that developed with every bite.

5. A True Taste of Jeju

The fried Halalchi was crispy and retained its crunch, while the black pork patties and grilled abalone added to the richness of the meal.

The thick pork patties were juicy and flavorful, while the grilled abalone was tender and aromatic.

The dishes served at Halalchi Jungmun Branch allowed me to enjoy a variety of Jeju foods all in one sitting, making it a memorable dining experience during my trip.
