The large 50% discount banner and the clean exterior of the restaurant caught my eye, making it easy to find even on my first visit. There was ample parking space, accommodating large vehicles or groups, allowing us to park and enter smoothly.
The spacious layout with well-arranged seating created a welcoming atmosphere. The menu was easy to read, showcasing the signature dishes, including photos of the pork cuts, which made ordering a breeze.
High-quality fresh meat was served on our plates, its vibrant color indicating freshness. As soon as the pork hit the grill, the enticing aroma of barley straw filled the air, drawing attention from nearby tables.
As the thick black pork and stir-fried kimchi cooked together on the hot grill, the flavors intensified. The thoughtful preparation made it easy to enjoy, as the staff cut the meat at the perfect time for us.
The table was beautifully set with a variety of sides that matched the restaurant's reputation. The special dipping sauce elevated the flavor of the meat, making it hard to stop eating.
Each bite was delightful, especially when wrapped in fresh lettuce with garlic. The unique combination of fernbrake added an unexpected depth to the meal.
The kimchi stew arrived bubbling hot, filled with generous pieces of pork and perfectly cooked tofu, inviting us to enjoy another bowl of rice.
As we enjoyed the meal, the rich Cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew) made a satisfying finale. The delicious stir-fried Jjapaguri was irresistible, and the refreshing Young Radish Noodles provided a perfect cleanse between bites.
The experience at Geunbon Heukdwaeji was memorable, from the grilled meats to the stews and noodles, leaving us thoroughly satisfied without needing additional orders.
