Experience the Vibrant Spring Festival in Geochang
Hello! I am Lee Won-pil, a member of the Geochang PR reporter group.
In May, I visited the Geochang Spring Festival held at Geochang Changpo Garden.
At the entrance of the garden, colorful flowers welcomed visitors,
and various experiences and performances created a lively atmosphere.
Especially, I had the chance to taste local specialties including Geochang's renowned mountain ginseng.
Geochang, dyed in the colors of Changpo, embraces healing!
Geochang Spring Festival
Dates: May 14 (Thursday) - May 17 (Sunday), 2026
Location: Geochang Changpo Garden
The weather felt more like summer than spring,
with a hot day that made it feel like we had jumped into summer early.
Entrance to Geochang Changpo Garden is ticketed, but free for residents of Geochang,
who can enter by showing their ID and receiving a sticker.
The 7th Geochang Arimia Flower Festival
This festival features the first themed fresh flower exhibition in the country.
Each year, a new theme is chosen to inspire dreams and hope for everyone weary from daily life.
The main artworks are created based on the selected theme,
transforming the exhibition from a simple display into a storytelling and healing experience.
I enjoyed various herbal teas and local products at the festival,
and the mushroom tree art was particularly captivating.
With the healing power of nature,
the festival was a delightful experience filled with joy and community spirit.
As the festival concluded, I collected stickers from various booths and received souvenirs.
I hope to return next year to enjoy the beauty of spring and the charm of Geochang.
