The weather has turned quite chilly lately, and I've been yearning for a warm place to enjoy a delicious beer with friends. With the year-end approaching, I was on the lookout for a nice atmosphere and heard about a great craft beer spot near Jamsil Station called 'Craft Island Jamsil'. I expected the Jamsil area to be bustling and crowded, but surprisingly, this place is tucked away just enough to feel cozy and comfortable. It seemed like the perfect spot for me, who was in need of some proper healing after a long time.

While searching for a lively place to catch up with friends, I noticed Craft Island Jamsil, which is well-known for its food and drink. I had high expectations, especially since they are famous for their craft beer and snacks pairing perfectly. Upon entering, the warm lighting and charming decor captured my heart, especially the Studio Ghibli-themed items scattered throughout the space. It felt like the ideal spot for a date or a cozy gathering with friends.

Craft Island Jamsil truly embodies a delightful atmosphere. The gentle lighting and stylish interior create a comfortable yet sophisticated vibe. The Ghibli decor adds a whimsical touch that fans of cute aesthetics will surely appreciate. We chose a separated room rather than sitting at the bar, which made conversation much easier and more enjoyable. I couldn't think of a better place for a year-end gathering with friends.

The accessibility is excellent, being just a short walk from both Jamsil Station and Jamsil Naru Station. I was amazed that such a laid-back atmosphere could be found in Jamsil. The interior felt clean and tidy, allowing us to start our meal in a pleasant mood. The spacing between tables was just right, so we could enjoy our time without being disturbed by neighboring tables. This thoughtful arrangement enhances the overall satisfaction of the gathering.

When at Craft Island, trying the craft beer is a must. We sampled various types, from IPAs to pilsners and pale ales, and beer enthusiasts will find themselves in a delightful dilemma. Personally, I opted for the IPA due to my preference for bitter flavors, and it exceeded my expectations with its deep and clean finish. My friend chose the smooth pilsner and kept praising its great drinkability.

The quality of the craft beers was exceptional, and the harmony with the accompanying snacks was delightful. Even though we were already feeling full from the pizza and Schweinshaxe, we couldn't resist ordering the 'Myeongran Aglio Olio' pasta. The unique salty flavor of the cod roe blended beautifully with the richness of olive oil and garlic. The pasta was cooked al dente, providing a satisfying texture, and each bite was bursting with flavor from the roe. Paired with beer, it was a clean and refreshing palate cleanser. We also ordered some fried snacks and nachos, which paired excellently with the beer.

The cozy atmosphere, the ability to comfortably chat with friends, and the perfect combination of high-quality food and beer made for an unforgettable experience. We stayed until closing time, completely engrossed in our enjoyable time together.

I highly recommend this place for year-end gatherings or company dinners. With private rooms available and a great atmosphere, it’s perfect for having a formal yet fun time. However, since it's a popular spot, be prepared for a wait; I strongly suggest arriving right at opening time to secure a table!

Overall, my visit to Craft Island Jamsil was truly satisfying. The delicious craft beer, pizza, Schweinshaxe, and pasta all showcased excellent quality, leaving me impressed with each dish. Finding a place that combines atmosphere and taste in Jamsil is rare, but this place exceeded all expectations. I plan to return soon with my parents to enjoy some smooth beer and try other menu items. I think visiting during quieter hours would be best with them.
