Discovering the Beauty of Gyeongpo Gasi Wetland
During the scorching summer of August, a destination that offers both the tranquil East Sea and serene nature walks catches the eye. The first attraction is the opportunity to see the endangered Gasi lotus, a rare plant classified as a Level 2 endangered species. Thanks to wetland restoration efforts, the Gasi lotus has naturally sprouted after 50 years and reaches its peak bloom in August, showcasing its mysterious beauty.
