A Cozy Dining Experience Near Jeju Woljeongri Beach

This trip to Jeju was a planned getaway with friends to enjoy the sea.
We wanted to eat at a place with a view of the ocean, and while searching for a restaurant near Woljeongri Beach, we discovered Cozy Gujwa Woljeongri, which was offering a 50% discount on meat with an ocean view. We decided it was the perfect spot!
Cozy Gujwa Woljeongri is located right in front of Woljeongri Beach, allowing diners to enjoy the beautiful blue sea during the day and a stunning sunset in the evening.
Upon arriving, we were impressed by the size of the restaurant, making it easy to spot from a distance. Fortunately, there was ample parking available both in front and behind the restaurant, allowing us to park quickly and head inside.
As I mentioned, the restaurant is conveniently located right by the beach, making it easy to transition from playing by the water to dining.
The restaurant's symbol, a cute cat, perfectly matches its cozy vibe. They offer barley straw-grilled pork, which I had never tried before, so my excitement was high.
Inside, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The circular tables were spaced out well, so even with many guests, it never felt cramped. Tissues and cups were placed conveniently around the restaurant for easy access.
Since it is near the beach, there were many families dining with children, adding to the lively atmosphere.
One thing you absolutely cannot miss when dining near Woljeongri Beach is the 50% discount on meat! All you need to do is leave a review on Naver, which felt like an encouragement to indulge in black pork.
The menu includes thick black pork grilled over barley straw, as well as various cuts like pork belly and skirt steak. The prices, even with the discount, are reasonable, with a meal costing around 100,000 KRW for a few dishes.
We ordered thick black pork and pork belly, and the sight of our full table made us feel satisfied even before we started eating.
There were also a variety of sauces and side dishes available, including seasoned vegetables that added new flavors to our meal, enhancing our dining experience.
When something ran low, we could easily refill from the self-service corner.
Finally, the main event arrived! The quality of the meat was evident, with its freshness and perfect thickness, balanced between fat and lean meat.
The grilling process involved barley straw and charcoal, which infused a subtle smokiness into the meat, making it smell wonderful even before cooking.
Thanks to the staff grilling the meat for us, we could relax and chat while waiting, making the meal even more enjoyable.
The thick cuts were grilled to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I can still taste it as I write this!
For my first bite, I dipped the meat in a sauce. The clean flavor of the pork was delightful, and as I chewed, the juices burst forth, confirming its high quality.
To accompany our meal, we ordered kimchi stew and soybean paste stew, each priced at 8,000 KRW. The kimchi stew was rich with black pork, while the soybean paste stew featured seafood, providing different yet equally appealing flavors.
As I enjoyed the stews, I found myself continuously reaching for more, relishing the refreshing broth.
Finishing off the meal, we had cold buckwheat noodles, which were refreshing and paired well with the rich flavors of the meat.
After a satisfying meal with friends, we naturally talked about returning to this restaurant on our next trip to Jeju.
The ocean view, quality black pork, attentive staff, and great discounts made for a highly satisfying experience. If you're looking for value and quality in black pork, Cozy Gujwa Woljeongri is definitely worth a visit!
