V of BTS and singer Park Hyo Shin's duet, 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN),' has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming service, according to Big Hit Music on the 28th. The song, released in November of last year, reportedly exceeded 500 million plays on the 25th.
This marks V's fourth solo track to surpass 500 million streams on Spotify, following 'Love Me Again,' 'Slow Dancing,' and others. 'Winter Ahead' is a jazz-pop song characterized by its romantic lyrics and melody.
Immediately after its release, it debuted at number 99 on the U.S. Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100' and was also selected as one of Billboard's '27 Best Winter Songs of All Time' in the same year.
