Kenshi Yonezu Achieves 8th Million-Point Single with 'IRIS OUT / JANE DOE'

Kenshi Yonezu's single "IRIS OUT / JANE DOE," released in September, has achieved its 8th million-point milestone on the latest Oricon Weekly Total Single Ranking, announced on the 30th.
This makes a total of eight works achieving this feat, including "Uma to Shika," "Lemon," "Kanden," "KICK BACK," "Pale Blue," "M87," "Plazma / BOW AND ARROW," and "IRIS OUT / JANE DOE." Yonezu now holds the record for the most 'Million-Point Single Achievements by Artist' as a solo artist, surpassing Aimyon, Ado, and Vaundy, who previously shared the top spot.
The CD, released on September 24th, sold 234,000 copies in its first week, debuting at number 2 on the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking dated October 6th. On the same date, "IRIS OUT" topped the Weekly Streaming Ranking, and "JANE DOE" topped the Weekly Digital Single (Individual Song) Ranking.
With high points in CD sales, streaming plays, and digital downloads, the single secured the top spot on the Oricon Weekly Total Single Ranking dated October 6th.
The songs have maintained high rankings in streaming, with "IRIS OUT" and "JANE DOE" dominating the top two positions on the Weekly Streaming Ranking for five consecutive weeks, from October 6th to the latest chart dated November 3rd. Driven by streaming points, the cumulative points reached 1,086,316 PT with 114,127 PT earned in the latest week (dated November 3rd). Five weeks after achieving its first weekly total single ranking, this marks Yonezu's eighth million-point achievement.
