On May 28th, I attended the second performance of 'Morning Music Outing' held at the Goyang Oulim Theater.
I had pre-booked my tickets on the Goyang Cultural Foundation's website. The star of the day was singer Lee Ki-chan✨
There was a spacious waiting area before the performance, allowing me to arrive early and take some photos.
I initially thought the audience would be sparse due to the weekday morning timing, but surprisingly, many attendees filled the seats.
The concert lasted for about 70 minutes, during which Lee Ki-chan performed his hit songs like 'Cold' and 'Once Again Love Is Gone', along with various movie OSTs and pop songs, engaging with the audience throughout.
What impressed me most was that it wasn't just a simple concert format; Lee shared stories related to the songs during the performance, creating a more intimate talk concert atmosphere.
This allowed the audience to not only listen to the music but also to enjoy the singer's stories in a relaxed environment.
As a parent, attending evening performances can be challenging due to late hours, so the 11 AM start time of 'Morning Music Outing' offered a great opportunity to enjoy cultural activities without pressure.
The ticket price was also reasonable at 30,000 won, making it easier to attend.
'Morning Music Outing' will continue to offer diverse performances in various genres in the second half of this year✨
On July 30th, a concert by the first-generation punk rock band 'Nobrain' is scheduled, and on September 17th, a crossover performance featuring tenor Seo Young-taek and baritone Lee Seung-min will take place.
From ballads to rock, classical to pop, this series offers a variety of musical experiences.
Additionally, performances are accessible to elementary school students and above, making it a great idea to visit with your children if the schedule and interests align.

Furthermore, discounts are available for youth under 24, seniors over 65, and groups of 20 or more.
Parking is available at the 'Oulim Nuri Parking Lot' for 2,000 won for up to 6 hours. After the performance, there is enough time to stroll around the Oulim Nuri area.
However, parking spaces are limited, so using public transportation is recommended if possible.
