Festival of Five Joys: The Wayaji Entertainment Event

Welcome!
On July 4th, I attended the 'Wayaji Entertainment Event' held at the Ilsan Cultural Arts Creation Center.
The 'Ilsan Cultural Arts Creation Center' is a multi-cultural space developed as part of the Goyang City urban regeneration project, transforming the old 'Nonghyup Warehouse' into a remodeled venue.
It offers various exhibition spaces, event halls, shared offices, multipurpose rooms, and meeting rooms, allowing local residents to utilize the facilities freely for diverse purposes.
In line with the concept of 'Five Joys,' the event featured performances, experiences, classes, food, and a free market, providing a rich array of sights and activities for families to enjoy together.
Outdoor classes included making space exploration badges, worry delivery capsules, sea glass scented candles, and mobile phone bead straps, offering both free and paid crafting experiences for children.
Adults could also participate in a 'Smart Tea' making experience, creating a festive atmosphere for families to enjoy together.
Delicious food and beverages were available, allowing visitors to take a break while enjoying the event.
In the 'Create Your Own Caricature' section, both children and adults participated joyfully, creating a delightful atmosphere.
Indoor activities included shooting games, board games, photo booths, and face painting, allowing attendees to choose according to their interests.
Various programs were set up, attracting many citizens to join in.
In the basement level, hat-making and fan-making programs were available through prior registration, which became particularly popular among family participants.
As the afternoon progressed, a 'Magic Show' and 'Singer-Songwriter Performances' captivated visitors even more.
Although the 'Wayaji Entertainment Event' was a one-day festival, it left lasting memories for all the citizens who participated.
The 'Ilsan Cultural Arts Creation Center' regularly hosts various cultural and artistic programs and operates as a 'cooling shelter' for citizens during the hot summer months. We hope you will continue to make use of this wonderful space!
Thank you.
