Located at the foot of the magnificent Bukhan Mountain in Goyang City, this campground is nestled comfortably in nature.
Thanks to a brief pause in the rain, I was greeted with a picturesque view of fluffy clouds floating in the blue sky, blending beautifully with the majestic scenery of Bukhan Mountain.

This time, I didn’t use the campground facilities, but I thoroughly explored the area and was so taken by the beauty of the surroundings that I couldn't help but think of returning with my family.

1. A Warm Promise for Using Sagi-mak Campground
Located near Seoul, the Bukhan Mountain Sagi-mak Campground is a very special place, being the first carbon-neutral campground in Korea.
To protect the natural environment, the campground has beautiful promises in place.
Before you head there, it’s good to check these rules.
The campground only allows eco-friendly vehicles (electric or hydrogen cars) inside, and regular vehicles cannot enter.
2. How to Reserve Sagi-mak Campground and Pricing Information
The popular Sagi-mak Campground features 70 charming sites.
Reservations can only be made through the National Park Reservation System.
Mark the following dates on your calendar to ensure you don’t miss the reservation window:
Reservations open on the 1st of every month at 2 PM for dates from the 16th to the end of that month.
On the 15th of every month at 2 PM, reservations open for the 1st to the 15th of the following month.

The entrance of the campground features a small checkpoint, but check-in is done at the management building a little further up.
Upon showing your reservation ID and completing check-in, you can borrow a wagon to help transport your belongings.
