2026 Youth Yanggu Komchwi Festival Overview

Welcome to the 2026 Youth Yanggu Komchwi Festival!
We are excited to share the details of this vibrant festival, taking place from May 2nd (Saturday) to May 5th (Tuesday) at Yanggu Seocheon Leisure Park.
The festival kicked off with a bustling crowd right from the first day, creating an energetic atmosphere. There are additional temporary parking spaces available, so visitors can park their cars and stroll into the festival.
Upon entering, the left side features a flea market with various cute keychains, accessories, and balloons, perfect for a casual browse.
On the opposite side, there is a Kids Adventure Zone. Descending the stairs, you'll find an air bounce area and a bubble zone, where children were joyfully playing, adding to the springtime ambiance of the festival.
There is also a natural playground for pets, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the festival atmosphere.
Walking a bit further, you will find the Tiny Ping Kids Zone next to the entrance, where kids can engage with their favorite characters, making it a delightful spot for preschoolers.
Across the way, there are booths featuring local agricultural products, showcasing fresh produce from Yanggu, with many attendees buying items as they explore.
Additionally, there’s a dedicated Komchwi sales booth with discounted prices, making it easy for visitors to purchase and even have items shipped home.
Behind the agricultural booths, you can find cafes and snack stalls offering a variety of food options, from tteokbokki and fish cakes to slushies and desserts, with ample seating available for enjoying meals on-site.
As you venture deeper into the festival, there are playgrounds for children and a refreshing water play area, perfect for hot days.
Don’t miss the Komchwi makgeolli booth nearby, where you can sample and take home some delicious drinks.
Continuing through the festival, you will reach the main stage, where various performances are scheduled. Be sure to check the performance timetable for a fun experience!
Across from the stage, the Komchwi Food Experience Zone offers free participation in various food-related activities, making it an excellent opportunity for everyone to join in.
At the Royal Play Zone, you’ll find food trucks and a food court that are particularly busy during lunchtime. There’s also an amusement area filled with rides, keeping children entertained.
Nearby, a wooden playground offers simple activities like mini-golf, which can be surprisingly engaging.
The Healing Zone is available for those who pre-registered, allowing them to relax and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
