Hello :)
It’s quite rare to see snow in Geochang, but this morning I woke up to a beautiful blanket of snow. I decided to visit Geochang Changpo Garden to capture its winter scenery.
Geochang Changpo Garden is an ecological park with wide walking paths and stunning natural landscapes throughout the four seasons. The snowy winter scenery was truly unique and refreshing.
The snow-covered landscape looked clean and serene. Even the playground was filled with snow.
Starting from January 12, 2026, an entrance fee will be collected, and visitors are required to use the main entrance. Therefore, entry from the playground area is not allowed.
You can park in the lot, pass by the healing center, purchase tickets at the ticket booth, and then enter through the main entrance.
The entrance fee is 3,000 won for individuals, 1,500 won for groups of 20 or more, and free for residents of Geochang.
The snow was evenly piled on the walking paths, making it enjoyable to leave footprints as I walked. There are many photo zones throughout the garden, so I strolled around leisurely.
The winter photo spots are quite different from the summer views I experienced before, providing a charming atmosphere.
In summer, there’s a beautiful photo zone with yellow daisies in full bloom, which looks even prettier against the white snow.
Although the lush greenery of summer is absent, the snow creates a unique ambiance at the photo zones.
The Metasequoia path also became a beautiful walking trail with the snow, just as lovely as in summer.
I also visited the barefoot walking path, which turned into a healing trail with the soft snow.
I climbed up to the observation deck to capture the snow-covered scenery of Changpo Garden. The winter views were stunning!
There are also lovely cards hanging at the resting area below the observation deck, creating another photo zone. The flowing stream adds to the beauty, and every spot is a healing experience.
After walking around the Changpo Garden, I stopped by the tropical greenhouse to warm up and enjoy the tropical plants, making it an excellent healing walking course.
I highly recommend experiencing the winter scenery of Changpo Garden :)
