The Vibrant Spring of Hongdo Village

As winter fades away, the village blooms in red
In the small rural village of Hongdo, located in Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, the entire area transforms into a sea of red every spring.
Just yesterday, it felt like the quietness of a population-declining region during winter, but by April, the village is reborn in the vibrant crimson of Hongdo flowers.
Flowers bloom along the roadsides, beyond stone walls, and beside small gardens on hills, signaling the return of spring.
After two days of spring rain,
the village was covered in a blanket of red.
Every year, it feels fresh and new.

It has long been recognized as one of the top spring flower destinations in Chungcheongnam-do.
