The 26th International Flower Arrangement Competition in Sinan

As the beauty of autumn deepens in October,

a special festival where flowers and art blend together unfolds at the Sinan 1004 Island Bonsai Garden.

This is the 26th International Flower Arrangement Competition!

From October 17 (Saturday) to 18 (Sunday),

the competition will be held at the Sinan 1004 Island Bonsai Garden,

The theme of this year's competition is

From traditional Korean dance embodying classical beauty

to dazzling body flower performances,

A wonderful stage where flowers and art come together

will enrich the autumn days in Sinan.

The master florist is the first Asian to earn the Meister Florist qualification recognized by the German government,

having directed the floral arrangements for the 1988 Seoul Olympics,

the Suncheon Bay Garden Expo, and the DDP Spring Garden exhibition,

making them a world-renowned floral artist.

As expected of an international competition,

a special exhibition will also be prepared.

A special exhibition of floral arrangements by the ambassadors' wives from six countries, including the Netherlands,

will showcase floral art that embodies the individuality and beauty of each country.

Additionally, an event featuring floral arrangements by local elementary school students will take place.

It is expected to be a meaningful time for children to experience new art through flowers

and to nurture their own dreams.

The competition will be held in four categories.

This year, prestigious awards such as the Prime Minister's Award will be presented,

allowing for intense competition and high-quality works from floral artists.

Registration is open until September 30,

and applications can be submitted via email to the Floral Art Institute or

the International Floral Artists Association blog.

This International Flower Arrangement Competition

is not just a place to appreciate flowers,

but a special cultural tourism content where beautiful floral art

merges with the natural beauty of Sinan.

In the lush nature, colorful flowers bloom,

and masterpieces are born from the fingertips of floral artists.
