I recently visited the Sonjeon Observatory at Geochang Forest Leisure Park, which I highly recommend as a travel destination for autumn.

From the parking lot, you can see the large Sonjeon Observatory, which is about a 10-minute walk away.

The treetop walkway and Sonjeon Observatory operate from 10 AM to 5 PM, with an entrance fee of 2,000 won for visitors aged 48 months and older.
The zip coaster operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 11 AM to 4 PM, with a fee of 18,000 won.
If you qualify for discounts on the zip coaster, make sure to bring identification or certificates to take advantage of them.
There are no restrooms at the observatory, so it’s convenient to use the restrooms at the ticket office before heading up.
After purchasing a ticket for 2,000 won at the ticket office, take the elevator to the second floor to access the treetop entrance.

The zip coaster was not in operation on the weekday, but it attracts many visitors on weekends, providing a different experience.
I recommend the Sonjeon Observatory at Geochang Forest Leisure Park as an autumn travel destination, especially in October when the birch trees turn yellow.
