Jinju Station KTX: A to Z
City Bus, Amenities, and Parking Information
The Complete Guide
Jinju Station, newly opened in Gajoa-dong in 2012 with the double-tracking of the Gyeongjeon Line, is a beautiful Hanok building that reinterprets the Jinju Gaeksa, which disappeared during the Japanese colonial period.
The station, with its tiled roof and traditional architectural elements, embodies the history and culture of Jinju. The Jinju mascot 'Hamo' in the plaza in front of the station welcomes visitors.
With an average of 1,600 users per day, Jinju Station operates KTX, SRT, and Mugunghwa trains. In particular, long-distance passengers between Seoul and Jinju account for more than 50% of all users.
Transportation Access
You can use various bus routes such as No. 10, 113, 131, 151, and 200 at the bus stop in front of the station. However, even if the bus number is the same, the routes for Innovation City and Pyeonggeo-dong are different, so be sure to check your destination with the bus driver before boarding.
Also, be aware that the stop location marked on the ground may differ from the actual bus stop location.

Using the Train Platform
Jinju Station has a double island platform with 2 sides and 4 lines, and you can access the platform through an underpass.
The most passengers use the KTX to Seoul, and the Daegu area also accounts for about 10% of the demand.
Follow the platform signs to separate the Seoul/Suseo/Daegu direction from the Suncheon/Busan direction.
Escalators are installed for easy platform movement, and each platform is equipped with an elevator, so families traveling with heavy carriers or strollers can use it with confidence.
Check the direction signs on the platform ceiling carefully and wait at the platform number of the train you are taking.
There is also an indoor customer waiting room on the platform, so you can wait for the train comfortably in the cold winter or hot summer.
