Starting from June 8th (Monday),
the Han River Bus will have an additional route to the Seoul Forest dock,
making it easier to visit the Seoul International Garden Expo.
The operation hours for the entire Han River Bus route have also been extended by one hour.
Now, take the Han River Bus to Seoul Forest and
experience the 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo more comfortably.

What are the operation days and stopping information?
Starting from June 8th (Monday), the Han River Bus will commence operations at the Seoul Forest dock.
Now, you can leisurely visit the Seoul Forest and
the 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo.

Number of Stops: 16 times a day

The Oksu and Apgujeong docks on the eastern route will alternate stops for operational efficiency and safety.
For example, the Han River Bus departing from Jamsil at 11:00 will stop at Oksu,
and the next bus departing at 12:00 will stop at Apgujeong.

Changes to Han River Bus operation start and end times
To allow citizens to enjoy the sunset and night views of the Han River longer,
the operation hours will also be adjusted.
Eastern Route: 11:00 AM - 9:28 PM
Western Route: 11:20 AM - 8:32 PM
* The operation timetable will be continuously optimized based on demand at each dock.
The Han River Bus Seoul Forest Dock has been improved for safety and visitor convenience.
The city has ensured a safe operation environment and conducted safety inspections.
Visitors can now easily move from the dock to Seoul Forest.
Improvements include:
Accessibility: Upgraded elevator at Seongsu Bridge
Pedestrian Environment: Improved walking paths connecting to Seoul Forest
Facilities: Upgrades to aging infrastructure such as bike paths
Rest Areas: Creation of gardens and observation decks
The 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo, which connects to the Han River Bus Seoul Forest Dock, will run from May 1st to October 27th.
It is the largest and longest in history, spanning 180 days.
After welcoming over 10 million visitors last year,
this year, it has surpassed 1 million visitors within just six days of opening.
Location: Seoul Forest, Han River, and Seongsu-dong area
Area: Approximately 710,000㎡ with 167 gardens
Period: May 1st - October 27th
Operating Hours: Daily from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Seoul Forest can be freely accessed outside the expo hours.
