I visited the Sapgyoho Lake tourist area in Dangjin and discovered a rather interesting place.

It's the Dangjin Bicycle Terminal.

This rental station allows you to ride around the Sapgyoho Lake area.

There are a variety of bicycles available, and the facilities are well-maintained, making it a great option on a nice day.

Moreover, Sapgyoho Lake has attractions ranging from lakeside parks to amusement parks, making it enjoyable to rent a bike and explore at a leisurely pace.

Upon entering the Dangjin Bicycle Terminal, the bicycles are neatly organized, giving a sense of good management.

They have a total of 75 bicycles available: 30 for adults, 13 tandem bikes, 22 for teens and women, and 10 for children.

This means you can enjoy riding alone or with a partner or family, offering various options.

I particularly noticed the 13 tandem bikes, which would be a fun choice if you plan a date at Sapgyoho Lake.

The rental fees are also reasonable, with 1,000 won for the first hour and an additional 500 won for every 30 minutes thereafter.

The operating hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM, and they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, although they do operate on public holidays.

For a couple of hours around Sapgyoho Lake, the prices seem quite fair.

The bicycle terminal provides detailed maps of the Sapgyocheon bike path and the Naepo-Sapgyoho bike route.

From the bicycle terminal, you can check out routes connecting to Sodeul Rest Area, Whale Rest Area, Solmoe Holy Site, and Hapdeok Reservoir.

The overall route is larger than you might expect.

With bike paths surrounding the area, those serious about cycling can use it for long-distance rides.

However, if you are visiting Dangjin for leisure, you shouldn’t feel pressured to cover all recommended routes.

I would rather recommend a leisurely exploration around the Sapgyoho tourist area.

Starting from the bicycle terminal, you can slowly explore the Sapgyoho Lake Park, the Sapgyoho tourist complex, and the amusement park.

While riding, you might encounter beautiful flowers and cute cats!

If you're traveling with children, combining the bike ride with a visit to the amusement park is a great idea.

For couples, riding a tandem bike for a fun date at Sapgyoho Lake would also be enjoyable.

Choose a bike from the well-maintained terminal and enjoy the breeze at Sapgyoho Lake.
