Location: 437-17 Girim-ro, Munmudaewang-myeon, Gyeongju
Operating Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Parking: Available (2,000 KRW for cars, 3,000 KRW for vans, 5,000 KRW for large vehicles)
A 10-minute walk from the parking area leads you to the temple.
The serene landscape of Girimsa Temple, harmonizing with nature, offers a stunning view. After parking, a 5-10 minute walk will take you to the Four Heavenly Kings Gate.
The path to the temple is adorned with lanterns and lush greenery, making it a healing experience.
As I leisurely explored Girimsa Temple, I noticed the hydrangeas blooming beautifully in June.
In addition to hydrangeas, various other flowers are planted throughout the temple, enhancing the visual experience.✨
The bell tower viewed from below exudes grandeur and pairs beautifully with the blue sky, making it a perfect photo spot.
Girimsa Temple is a peaceful destination, perfect for a quiet walk, providing a healing experience during your trip to Gyeongju.
The tranquil pavilions and vibrant nature allow you to feel the deep atmosphere of Gyeongju as you explore comfortably.
On this day, international tourists visited and appreciated the beauty of our culture.
Additionally, I learned that since April 30, Girimsa's Eungjinjeon has been designated as a cultural heritage site in Gyeongju!
Make sure to visit and appreciate it when you come to Girimsa.
Please note that photography is not allowed in certain areas of Girimsa Temple, so be sure to check before taking pictures of the Buddha statues or the interior!
