Exploring the Beautiful Sapgyoho Sea Garden in Dangjin

The Sapgyoho Sea Garden in Dangjin is a park developed along the Sapgyoho Lake.
Not only can you enjoy the beautiful sea, but there are also amusement parks, splash pads, and parks within walking distance.
On a lovely day with beautiful clouds, I would like to share my experience of visiting the Sapgyoho Sea Garden during a summer trip to Dangjin.
The splash pad at Sapgyoho Sea Garden is a perfect spot to cool off during the hot summer. It operates until August 23, starting at 10 AM and running until 4:40 PM.
Watching children play and splash in the water brought me joy as well. Parents visiting the Sapgyoho Sea Garden may want to dress their kids in rash guards.
Additionally, it’s advisable to wear aqua shoes to prevent foot injuries.
In the shade near the splash pad, parents can enjoy a cooler summer experience while waiting for their kids to finish playing.
The Sapgyoho Sea Garden also has well-equipped playgrounds, making it a great place to visit after enjoying the splash pad.
After exploring the splash pad, I took a stroll around the garden. Although the weather was quite hot, the stunning scenery made me forget the heat and quicken my pace.
The Sapgyoho Lake holds many memories for me, as it has been a frequent outing spot since my childhood. It has become one of the best travel destinations in Dangjin through annual maintenance and renovations.
Now that my kids are older, I visit to take photos, and I had a great time feeding the seagulls. Although it was a bit intimidating when the seagulls approached, I managed to endure it for the sake of capturing some beautiful pictures.
The second photo captures the moment a seagull swoops down to eat. Its wings spread wide create a majestic sight.
If you want to feed the seagulls like I did, I recommend buying shrimp chips from a nearby convenience store beforehand.
Overall, the Sapgyoho Sea Garden is a wonderful destination to visit at any time.
