Exciting Performance of 'Laundry' Musical in Yeongdeok

We are thrilled to announce that the original musical 'Laundry', which represents Daehakro, will be performed in Yeongdeok.
The performance is scheduled for Saturday, July 4th, at 3 PM, at the Yeju Cultural Arts Center Grand Theater.
'Laundry' is set in a neighborhood on the outskirts of Seoul and tells the story of ordinary people living in an unfamiliar city.
The musical follows 'Nayoung', who moved from Gangwon-do to work in a bookstore, and 'Solongo', a migrant worker from Mongolia. The two first meet while hanging laundry on the rooftop and gradually learn more about each other amidst their struggles in Seoul.
While it addresses the challenges and loneliness of working life and the reality of living in a foreign environment, the charm of this piece lies in its light-heartedness.
The delightful stories of friendly neighbors and warm music come together to quietly comfort weary hearts. Especially, even when facing tough and upsetting times, the performance conveys a warm message that, just as laundry dries in the sun and wind, our tears and wounds will eventually heal.
This show is highly recommended for anyone in need of a warm embrace.
